Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Coffs Harbour, Scone, Ballarat, Swan Hill and Ipswich.

COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 8 @ 4:44 PM

ZOUPERB (14) classy mare in red-hot form chasing her fourth straight victory. Takes on a much stronger field here after carrying the 58.5kg for a sound head win over 1200m at the Gold Coast Poly on July 20. Drops nicely in weight and gets the right set-up here. OAKFIELD DUKE (4) holding his form in the city and gave away too much start at latest when a plugging seventh over 1200m at Rosehill in BM78 company on July 20. Can race closer today and figure prominently. FENDER (2) smart on his day and will find this more to his liking after running on late when 10th over 1200m in the LR Ramornie at Grafton on July 17. Claim helps and can add value to the exotics. Group 3 placegetter THE FACE (1) is third-up today and won third-up in the past. Came out fast and knocked-up late when sixth over 1200m at Eagle Farm on July 20. Has the speed to get across from the wide gate and not to be underestimated.
SELECTIONS: Zouperb to win.

SCONE: RACE 6 @ 3:10 PM

JAWHARAT DUBAI (4) has found it tough to get off the mark but has come close on many of occasions. Clearly shoulders her share of ability and this looks her best chance yet. ATOMIC CLOCK (12) turned in an eye-catching finish on debut at Newcastle when flashing home from near last to finish fourth. Is sure to have come on with race experience and can settle much closer to the action this time from the kinder draw. Immediate danger. TAYLA THE SAILOR (6) has just missed in her last two, with the form from her race two back sticking up superbly with a stack of subsequent winners. This is tougher but she deserves consideration. JU TWO (1) is a Divine Prophet gelding stepping out on debut for Lyle Chandler. Showed some positive signs in most recent trial here. Definitely worth paying attention to the market with him.
SELECTIONS: Jawharat Dubai gets her best chance yet.

BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM

SEA OF LIGHTS (4) looks the clear horse to beat and will be short in betting. She was a dominant eight-length maiden winner two starts back at Seymour before starting favourite in a metro race at Sandown Lakeside last time, only beaten two lengths. Suited here and rates highly. VEGAS ON FIRE (2) hasn't been far away of late, winning easily three back at Donald on wet ground and fifth in two runs since. Some query on synthetic but she's in the mix. RADSTAR (7) broke through for a deserved maiden win at her 16th start here last time out and won well. Might be able to go on with it now. SMOKEY WARRIOR (5) rates an each-way hope.
SELECTIONS: Sea Of Lights to win.

SWAN HILL: RACE 2 @ 12:40 PM

MET WITH LUCK (2) is a former HK galloper who was sharply better second-up narrowly beaten at Sandown-Lakeside. Shinn staying with him is a decent push for his chances. Comes back to a shorter sprint but is well-placed in a country Maiden. QUEEN CAVES (6) trialled well and resumed at Ballarat with a solid effort. She's improved and maps well. Fitter and can get into the placings. ZETALYN (12) found Stakes grade at Flemington too rich on debut and resumes today. Must be showing something and expect her to be presented forward. Draws wide and the betting will be key. FERRYTAIL (10) comes back to the turf and is a likely improver.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Met With Luck.

IPSWICH: RACE 8 @ 4:53 PM

Vandyke-trained LUTON HOO (10) impressed winning on debut and then switched from a Sydney barn. She showed a nice turn of foot to win a 58 comfortably second-up on the Gold Coast poly over 1540m. Fitter again and maps for a soft on-speed run. She has more to give and returning to the turf should be a positive. BRAVE AGENDA (5) led and was an easy CL1 winner at Gatton and then found the grade a bit rich in the Capricorn Guineas at Rockhampton. She's in the premier metro barn and will find this assignment more appealing. Races forward and winning rider Jones is reunited. WANDA'S OUTLAW (9) is a former Victorian who is right up to this at best. She just missed in a 65 on the Gold Coast poly second-up over 1540m and is proven third-up. Ready to fire. HALLSIDE MARTINI (14) peaks and is knocking on the door. Has a better gate today and she's good enough. A x2 winning rider is reunited.
SELECTIONS: Luton Hoo to take this out.
