THOROUGHBREDS
Doomben: Race 8; #4 Savannah Gangster
Good win last start but was $31 and being asked to take a much shorter price today for a horse that is yet to put together two wins in a row.
Sandown: Race 8; #13 Juja Kibo
Juja Kibo was ok in a weaker race last start at Cranbourne but is coming out of two slowly run races and gets to 1800m third-up with no profile to run the trip if they run along solidly.
Grafton: Race 3; #5 Headhunter
He's well weighted, but I have some question marks on his form this prep, especially compared to his key dangers. He was disappointing in town in his first two runs back, and then improved but was a beaten favourite at Beaudesert latest. I'd rather be siding with the likes of Bollinger Miss through the Winx Guineas or Silent Call off a 5L maiden romp.
GREYHOUNDS
Rockhampton: Race 7; #8 Weblec Whisper
Weblec Whisper has a difficult draw to overcome and she's been unsuccessful in doing so in all 14 starts to date. There's great speed underneath her with the likes of Exquisite, Buckaroo and Sober Meredith all capable of landing in-front early.
Rockhampton: Race 8; #1 Edgewood
Happy to oppose Edgewood off box one with speed rushing across. The likes of Penny Daze, Amren and Court Model have all been flying out of the boxes of late and should pressure him. His last few runs haven't been anywhere near his best and he would need to return to his old form to win here.
