This is a very competitive race with not a lot between many of these, so can take on UNITED KINGDOM here. He has a wide race map which is expected to be a negative on this track and looks likely to give a head start to runners up on speed who are in good form such as THE REPLICANT. UNITED KINGDOM likely needs luck late for the right run if the track is as expected so for that I am happy to risk him.
Sandown: Race 5; #4 Flying Valley
Flying Valley won impressively last start but did get all favours up the fence and won't have anywhere near the same run from the wide gate, against at the price.
The top two in betting look hardest to beat here, so I am happy to risk the horse on the third line of betting as I expect him to be better placed when stepping up in distance.

Rockhampton: Race 2; #8 Blackjack Mike
BLACKJACK MIKE (8) was beaten on his merits last week in the aforementioned contest behind Miss Bella Blue and co. Box eight doesn't appear suitable as he wanted to hunt back to the fence when he claimed victory two starts ago. Could struggle to get there with better box dogs drawn underneath. False fav.
