Black-type racing returns to Doomben this weekend with the running of the $160,000 Listed Keith Noud.

Whilst racing at Melbourne and Sydney has been electric over the past few months, Brisbane gets it's chance to shine with the running of the $160,000 Listed Keith Noud on Saturday. 

We open the batting in the first race with our best bet in the form of first-up winner Boomelli out of the astute Tony Gollan yard. 

This daughter of Spirit Of Boom couldn't have been more impressive saluting at the Sunny Coast on debut by four lengths when heavily supported in betting.

Worth noting that hoop Ben Thompson was on her that day and sticks despite having ridden the race favourite Itchintogo to victory in a recent trial. Not sure if he had the choice between the two Gollan runners, but happy to side with race experience and confidence high. 

Our next best is another Gollan galloper Boom Shot in the Class 3 later on the card. 

Hit the line strongly to salute over Saturday's track and trip last time out and should get a similar run in transit from gate two.

Maloney stays on top and handles all going should the predicted rain hit the Doomben area. Currently shopping around the $4.40 mark and looks a 1W x 3P type play.
