Chris Scholtz reviews Randwick 2YO Trials on September 22 and Warwick Farm trials on September 18.
WARWICK FARM September 18
Inside Grass; Soft 5
11 Heats – 2 x 1200m (1 Open; 1 Maiden); 4 x 792m (2 Open; 2 Maiden); 5 x 789m (5 Maiden)
A couple of Godolphin maidens trialled nicely for their new trainers.
JAEGERS (Gary Portelli): Godolphin's unraced Bivouac filly worked strongly to win her 792m heat (47.11; 33.36) in her first trial for Gary Portelli. Looks to have come since she had three trials last season for James Cummings.
TAXATION (Joseph Pride): Unraced I Am Invincible filly was placed in her first two trials for James Cummings in January when we picked up her ability. This was her second trial for Joe Pride and she looks primed for a good debut after winning her 789m heat with authority in good time (46.51; 33.03).
NOTED TRIALS
XX Jaegers; Taxation
X Confidentiality; Cool Blaze; El Qasabi; Firestorm; Great Heights; In Circles; Matchsticks; Point And Shoot; Struff; Willaidow

9 Heats x 850m (5 Colts/Geldings; 4 Fillies)
Just nine heats and 60 runners at the annual trials for unraced 2YOs with Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott dominating with six winners.
Only three winners went under 50 seconds with six being Magic Millions products and the other three from the Inglis Classic sale ring. First season sires were represented by three winners (Home Office x 2; Stay Inside).
