ROSEHILL November 8
Best Bets
RACE 5 – (2) HURSTVILLE ZAGREB: Imposing 4YO has the talent to match his size as he is yet to miss a place in seven starts with the best still to come. Improved off his first-up placing to carry 59.5kg to a dominant win over 1600m at Warwick Farm and will have no issue over this extra distance after proving himself up to 2000m in his last prep. Took control from the start last time and expect another positive ride from his awkward gate.
RACE 9 – (11) TAXATION: Promising I Am Invincible filly has done what few can achieve by jumping from an easy provincial maiden win on debut to win her second start in BM72 company when she mastered a wet track over this course and distance. Her desire to win last time was impressive and with only 52kg she is capable of taking another quick step up the ladder.
RACE 10 – (9) FROSTY GIRL: Exciting unbeaten mare had no trouble dispensing with three rivals when she resumed with a classy BM68 win over 1400m at Warwick Farm on October 22 when having her first start as a 4YO. She carried 60.5kg with her fast winning time (1.21.88) significantly quicker (approximately 8 lengths) than the subsequent Flemington winner Dance To The Boom recorded winning in higher BM78 class over the same trip on the day (1.23.23). Impressive form for this company.

Why They Can Win….
RACE 1 - (7) FAVOUR THE BOLD: Raw talent with big scope for improvement. Held in high regard by his stable.
RACE 2 - (5) MOTOSCAFO: Sure to come on from a strong first-up placing. Good draw and weights favour her to turn the tables.
RACE 3 - (10) PRESLEY: Primed for this third up. Should stay well with his weight advantage.
RACE 4 - (4) BARTOLF: Hard fit and form is strong. Gets last look in a pressure race.
RACE 6 - (5) ARTEMEX: Classy trial win. Top stable have him well prepared.
RACE 7 - (2) MISS ROUMBINI: Set to rebound under favourable conditions. Rates to win on her Melbourne form.
RACE 8: (7) MILITARIZE: Positive prep in WFA races. Nicely weighted and Moreira reunion is significant.

TRIAL POINTERS
WARWICK FARM October 31: In the 2YO heats over 818m the Exceed And Excel colt ARTEMEX made an impression finishing over the top of his rivals (48.85; 34.22). He is a raw talent who will take plenty of benefit from the experience. Another sharp trial win by I Am Invincible filly JARRITO. Placed in her only start last season, she followed up a recent WF trial win with this confident effort, spearing away from her rivals over the last 200m to win her 812m heat by more than five lengths in the fastest of all the short course trials (46.92; 33.51). Other smart maiden heat winners included ADMIRE ME (815m 48.06; 33.90) and CURADO (812m 48.10; 34.09).
ROSEHILL October 24: Talented 4YO KING OF ROSEAU had his first trial since he completed a winning treble with his victory in the G3 Aurie's Star at Flemington on August 2. He was last early in his 900m heat (54.47; 33.73) before making ground along the rails over the last 400m under a quiet ride. Had plenty to offer through the line in a hitout that will bring him on nicely for his summer campaign. A strong open heat over 1030m (62.32; 34.88) saw a late effort by TUNED take the eye. Ciaron Maher won both 2YO heats over 900m with the Snitzel colt THE LAST EPISODE making the best impression to find the line strongly from off the pace in faster time (54.94; 34.96) than his stablemate SPICY MISS (55.07; 35.11) in the fillies division.
WARWICK FARM October 17: JARRITO looked a readymade winner, taking out her 798m heat in slick time (46.84; 33.53). She was ridden with no urgency to settle third before splitting the leaders turning form home and cruising to a strong win under a cold ride.
RANDWICK October 7: Tommy Wong doesn't train a big team but he looks to have a handy youngster in the Yes Yes Yes colt RAPID PROGRESS. He had plenty to offer winning the 2YO heat over 740m (45.01; 34.07).
WARWICK FARM October 3: TERRITORY EXPRESS is a talented galloper but you have to catch him on his right day due to past misdeameanours, principally his poor barrier manners. In this trial he responded to the removal of blinkers to lead and win his heat over 1207m in quick time (71.44; 35.58).
WARWICK FARM August 8: Sharp debut trial by North Pacific colt CURADO, showing good natural speed to control his 779m heat from start to finish (47.51; 34.71). Held a good margin to the line with plenty in reserve.
