Te Rapa Race 1
10 Pacheco

Six-year-old who is having his first start over the sticks, but he will be well schooled under the tutelage of trainer Shaun Phelan. His recent form on the flat suggests he will be ready to go a big race on Saturday.
Selections: 10-2-3-1

Te Rapa Race 2
2 Berry The Cash

Mark Oulaghan-trained visitor who was a class above when taking out last month's Awapuni Hurdle against many of these runners. The son of Jakkalberry is still on the improve and he'll enjoy the track conditions.
Selections: 2-3-1-4

Te Rapa Race 3
11 Bubalina

She's better than her odds would suggest. She wasn't too far off them on a number of occasions during her last campaign, and she will be close to full fitness three runs into her fourth campaign.
Selections: 11-13-1-8

Te Rapa Race 4
1 Babylon Berlin
**TIP OF THE DAY**

Supremely talented mare who has racked up 22 top three finishes from just 28 career starts. She's got some weight to carry on Saturday, but she is a genuine Group 1 horse who has performed well on heavy tracks previously and she has a brilliant record at Te Rapa (9 starts for 4 wins and 4 placings).
Selections: 1-6-2-4

Te Rapa Race 5
1 Devoted

Te Akau runner who went close to winning at his steeplechasing debut a fortnight ago. The six-year-old will have derived plenty of benefit from that outing and should prove awfully hard to beat here.
Selections: 1-4-3-5

Te Rapa Race 6
1 The Cossack

Champion jumper who has an unbeaten record at this trip. Loves Te Rapa (7 starts for 5 wins and 2 placings) and is a proven weight carrier. Paul Nelson and Corrina McDougal will have trained to the minute.
Selections: 1-4-3-2

Te Rapa Race 7
5 Little Bit Of Love

Jumps up in trip to 1600 metres in search of his fifth win in a row. The way he attacked the line in each of his last three starts over 1400 metres, despite covering a heap of extra ground, suggests he is ready for the mile now. The Lance O'Sullivan and Andrew Scott-trained four-year-old is unbeaten in three starts at this track.
Selections: 5-3-2-4

Te Rapa Race 8
8 Itza Charmdeel

Has been improving with each run since returning from a spell. Trained by Roger James and Robert Wellwood, the three-year-old shouldn't have too many issues getting through the wet track. Two of his three starts on havey tracks have resulted in a win.
Selections: 8-1-7-10

Te Rapa Race 9
3 Takeshi

Disappointed plenty of punters when only managing a sixth placed finish at his first run back from a spell. That outing would have done the Satono Aladdin colt a world of good and we should expect a more prominent showing on Saturday desipite the wide draw.
Selections: 3-13-10-12

Te Rapa Race 10
5 Diamond Jak

Resumed from a long break with an excellent effort to finish third over 1600 metres at Pukekohe last month. The Mark Brosnan-trained son of Jakkalberry loves a wet track and he will also love the step up in trip to 2100 metres.
Selections: 5-2-4-1
