Cambridge Synthetic Race 1
7 El Amor

Complete forgive and forget run last start here two weeks ago, where she is still looking for a clear run as at publish on 8th July. A repeat effort of her run prior would see her very hard to beat in this lineup. McNab sticks from the low draw, I expect this race will be El Amor's to lose with even luck in running.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 2
2 Jimmy Dean

Very tricky race to assess, where I wasn't particularly keen to play anything at the pointy end of the market for differing reasons. I landed on Jimmy Dean at an enticing price, while he hasn't shown his best for some time, his last patch of form came this time last year through these synthetic track meetings. He possesses a very strong synthetic track record, and with a positive ride early he should be able to dictate terms under Courtney Barnes and give a great sight at odds.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 3
7 Forsetti

Comes into this race 3rd up off the back of two much improved efforts this campaign, both of which have been on the synthetic track. Was caught wide and working throughout last start from the outside barrier, the switch to an inside draw here will be much more favourable. The step up to 1300m now looks an ideal distance for this filly as she hits peak fitness.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 4
5 Lhasa

Won very well last start at this course/distance and in R75 grade. The speed map looks ideal for Lhasa again tomorrow, where I expect Vinnie Colgan to be biding his time off what looks a very strong early tempo. A repeat of his last start win should be very hard to beat, just has to cope with the extra 2kg here to be a player again.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 5
2 Seamsew

While getting back over the 970m journey typically wouldn't be a recipe for success, I expect them to be going flat out from the moment the gates open in this race. Therefore, I'm hoping Vinnie Colgan can take a sit aboard Lhasa, find a back to follow from the outside gate and be charging over the top at the business end.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 6
9 Sister Ping
**TIP OF THE DAY**

Although she's a 2yo filly taking on the older horses, Sister Ping looks extremely hard to beat in this maiden 970m contest. Now in the care of Chad Ormsby, Sister Ping has trialled very well on the Heavy9 at Pukekohe in June, where Chad was riding the filly without asking for much of an effort. Showed some tactical speed last campaign and given she only has 53.5kg on her back from gate 2, I expect Kelly Myers will be positive on Sister Ping and be extremely hard to catch.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 7
3 Go Your Own Way

Very competitive maiden 2000m, where I thought Go Your Own Way looked well placed to break through for his maiden victory. He comes into this off the back of two solid efforts over the 1550m, where he looked to be running through the line strongly on each occasion. Lily Sutherland claiming 1kg and the inside draw (2), should see him given every chance here.

Cambridge Synthetic Race 8
6 Pow Tong

Has been unlucky at crucial stages of the race in his last two starts over this course/distance. Sam Spratt now taking the steer from gate 2 should see Pow Tong land on the speed from the outset, where I think he is as good as any runner in what is a competitive race.
