Gore Harness Race 1
1 Mode
Caught the eye out wide at Oamaru on Sunday when making up a stack of ground late to fly into second. Has always looked to have the ability too, it's just been the manner. Perhaps the penny has finally dropped and despite being on the quick back-up here can win this.

Gore Harness Race 2
7 Trendy Van Gogh
Solid introduction to the racing game and hails from a stable that can get them to win early. Meets a very average maiden field here with plenty of chances enjoyed by most and with Blair Orange pulling the strings, you're going to get every possible chance for your money.
Selections: 7-4-6-3-1
Gore Harness Race 3
9 Cranachan
Patience has been key with this four-year-old who is only having the second start of his career. Stable really knows how to get them up and running and there looks to be plenty in the tank to work with here. Even fresh up should be right in the fight for a very long way.
Selections: 9-3-7-4-1
Gore Harness Race 4
8 Hidden Talent
Quality mare who hasn't had the best of luck in her career with injuries curtailing most of it. But up to the very best when at her absolute peak and while on the comeback trail here today should really have a little bit too much class for them all. Just needs to be close enough.
Selections: 8-4-5-7-3
Gore Harness Race 5
1 Rise Up N Dance
Nice type back in action for a strike-rate Southland stable. Took on some very good fields in the last campaign and sure to find this a whole lot easier than some of them. Good draw to work with and might look to take bad luck out of the equation. Wins if that happens.
Selections: 1-6-5-3-2
Gore Harness Race 6
6 Van Liberty
Has always looked a pretty capable pacer but often seems to find bad luck or creates it in races. Meets the right kind of line up here to take things into their own control and if able to find a forward position early and bowl them along a bit, should be able to outstay in the run to the line.
Selections: 6-8-2-7-10
Gore Harness Race 7
4 Bobbies Rock
Given a freshen up over the winter break after doing a mighty fine job in what was a real transitional period in the career through the early stages of the year. Ran some bold races there and might look to do the same here with the aid of a decent draw. Kirstin likes to go forward and punters can take confidence from that.
