Has run some very strong races recently in good grades at Addington and clearly thriving in the new environment. Drops down into the amateur grade today with a well-familiar driver sitting in the bike. Can be driven for that high speed and should deliver.

Got it all wrong last time out but was very good first up for the new barn at Addington. Manners are the key here but Rangiora suits those that can get onto the speed early and control things. Might be good enough to lead all the way here. A strong hope.

Regan Todd trained maiden who should be reaching peak fitness levels now after a few runs back from a spell. Should relish the drop in grade from good Addington fields for this and with Blair Orange in the bike you're going to get the best possible run for your money.

2 Hoof It Hagrid
Well-schooled debutant trotter from a stable that generally has them ready to rock and roll first up. Tricky draw to work with but has one of the best handlers of a trotter in the bike in John Dunn to negate that. No doubt there's enough ability there to get the job done – just needs a bit of luck early.

Backed up some very good trial form with two strong runs to open the account. The first was very good and any kind of repeat of that here today would be just about enough to get the job done in what is a pretty even looking maiden field.

The old boy certainly still has a bit of fight left in him judging by his recent efforts. So consistent and a great option for the each way players are he'll put himself into the race at some point and be right there when things get serious. Always a chance.

Bit of class about the maiden win at Addington, just kept driving all the way to the line and looks a bit of staying type who won't mind the step up in grade this week. Should be able to land handy enough to them and from there give this a good shake.

Newcomer to the Hayden Cullen barn but one with a decent amount of ability and should be ready to run a race here fresh up. Looks ready enough and meets a pretty even looking field so if they're close enough turning for home can get over or under them late and get a slice.

Five runs back from a spell have netted five cheques with a win and four placings. One of the most consistent performers in Canterbury at the moment and doesn't seem to shirk any challenge. Small field here and conditions really suit and should be delivering again.

Hard not to be taken by the effort late at Addington last week when having to clear across wheels before charging through the line. Might be really starting to switch onto the racing game and meets the right kind of race to make a huge play here.

Unbelievable odds on offer for a horse who has taken on two very strong fields to open the account so far. Is much better than that form and should relish the drop in grade. Big draw works into favour. Should be on the speed throughout and can give this a big shake.
