Cambridge Harness Picks - Monday, 28 October

Cambridge Harness Race 1
9 Dragonstone

After showing of a bit of promise in the first campaign, Dragonstone returns today off the back of a good spell and should be, with time on the side, ready to show a more complete version. Manners always the question, but with them here there's no doubt she is good enough to beat this field.
Selections: 9-10-3-2-5

Cambridge Harness Race 2
2 Baileys Pitch

With a slight draw advantage over some key rivals, this race sets up quite well for Baileys Pitch. Is a strong follower of speed and should be able to punch out and land handy to the top end early, potentially even in the trail and from there would be a strong winning hope up the lane late.
Selections: 2-6-4-8-7

Cambridge Harness Race 3
7 Carbon

Stonewall Stud have been compiling a good record through the run of Tuesday meetings and they have another strong chance of success here in Carbon. Has been footing it in some decent opposition lately and far from disgracing himself and from a handy draw here tonight – should be right in the action.
Selections: 7-8-5-6-10

Cambridge Harness Race 4
9 Elizabeth Hill

Getting it all right and trotting the whole way has always been a key issue for Elizabeth Hill but she did it all right last time and grabbed a very convincing victory. Confidence levels will be right up after that performance and she slides in here well again today off the 10m handicap.
Selections: 9-6-11-8-3

Cambridge Harness Race 5
8 Betyoucan

There was a lot to like about the debut performance of the Tate Hopkins trained Betyoucan. Only sixth, but the merit in the run suggested there was a win incoming at short notice. With some more experience under the belt should be right in the mix here today, even from the slightly wider draw.
Selections: 8-4-3-5-6

Cambridge Harness Race 6
7 Hezasweetie
Tip of The Day

Manners and general racing temperament have been a bit of an issue for Hezasweetie lately but in this line up today it's hard to ignore the chances. Has taken on, and competed against much better fields than this in the past and if able to get the feet going in the right direction should deliver.
Selections: 7-8-9-4-5

Cambridge Harness Race 7
8 Kimkar Dash

Best horse in this race by quite some way is Kimkar Dash. Has taken on some of the best trotters in the land in the past 12 months and been far from disgraced. Third up from a spell today and improved from the first run to the second so should be ready to strike off the 20m handicap.
Selections: 8-6-1-3-5
