Oamaru Harness Race 1
6 See No Evil
One of two runners for the Brent and Tim White stable in this wide open trot, See No Evil had shown enough promise in all trials prior to the last start debut. The one barrier draw then didn't work in favour and things went wrong but drawn out a bit wider today should be able to get things right and prove hard to stop.

Oamaru Harness Race 2
3 Ari On Safari
Gerard O'Reilly doesn't step horses out at the races often unless they are ready to win and Ari On Safari's recent Ashburton trial suggested things aren't far off being perfect for a strong resumption here. Good manners and a nice draw against a small field so should be right in it the whole way and hard to catch.
Selections: 3-1-4-2-6
Oamaru Harness Race 3
2 Ultimate Mach
Well bred pacer Ultimate Mach resumes from a spell here today. Is held in high regard by those close to him and has been ticking overly nicely ahead of this run. Lands a good draw which should have him on the speed throughout and if he's close enough turning for home, can get the job done.
Selections: 2-4-5-3-1
Oamaru Harness Race 4
1 Miles Away
After taking on a very good field at Ashburton on Magic Monday, Miles Away should find today's assignment a whole lot easier. Has a decent motor tucked away there and when able to unleash it can be quite devastating late. Look for a really strong finish at a nice each way quote.
Selections: 1-5-3-9-10
Oamaru Harness Race 5
8 Dare Devil
Interesting runner here is Dare Devil. Formerly with Hayden Cullen but now in the care of Kerryn Tomlinson. Cops a wide draw but should have enough ability in the tank to overcome that in what is a pretty wide open race. Has taken on, and beaten, much better fields.
Selections: 8-6-4-3-17
Oamaru Harness Race 6
11 Cody Banner
Given he's on the ballot for the Dominion Handicap on Cup Day next week, Cody Banner should absolutely donkey-lick this field. But, history tells us that the talented but enigmatic trotter can do things wrong. Look for a quick beginning from the 20m handicap and if he can hold his gate he'll run this field into the ground over the concluding stages.
Selections: 11-6-1-9-7
Oamaru Harness Race 7
9 Szybka Lane
Hard to fault the recent performances of Szybka Lane, she's low-flying. Very good when she's tucked away for one run at them and gets a chance late to swoop which is exactly how this race looks like it might pan out. Just needs to be quicker away than most off the 10m handicap to lob the right kind of spot.
Selections: 9-4-8-3-2
Oamaru Harness Race 8
4 Dancing Desire
Tip of The Day
Quite possibly the drop-back horse of the week here in Dancing Desire. She comes out of races behind Stella Rouge and Mantra Blue in her last two starts and should find this challenge a whole lot easier. Decent draw to look to push forward and if in front turning for home will be hard to beat.
