2 Transonic
There was an air of arrogance about the maiden win of Transonic (2) at Ashburton last week. Takes one huge leap up in grade here today but has that little bit of something about him that suggests he's well above average. Good draw really helps and can go two-from-two.

1 Petite Amour
She did everything but win last Friday did Petite Amour (1). No Kyvalley Ray here tonight and with her own terms from the inside draw should be able to bowl along and give them plenty to chase. Really should salute.

3 J T Boe
Something quite impressive about J T Boe's (3) Cup Day victory. The further he went, the better he looked. Turns to face the starter for the first time tonight and that will be a good challenge for him but if he gets it right and can work to the front they might not catch him.

Race 4
12 Walkinonsunshine
Big run on Cup Day after an early gallop from Walkinonsunshine (12). She had no right to finish as close as she did. Can't afford to miss a beat here tonight but if she catches it right and can get into the race nicely then she's certainly good enough to win this.

5 Cath
Never really got a chance to get warm in the Gr.1 last week did Cath (5) but a much better set up here should have her right in play. Can jump forward with her gate speed and take control and everything we've seen of her suggests she's good enough to win.

1 Tracy The Jet
Off the back of smashing them in the Ascent on Show Day, the scary thought is that Tracy The Jet (1) could be even better tonight. Hadn't raced for a month prior to the last start and travelled countries too. Should be able to hold up enough to get into the right spot and she'll be hard to stop.

1 Captains Mistress
No disgrace in the sixth placing in last week's Velocity from Captains Mistress (1). She ran some incredible times in defeat, times that would see her dominate this field if she were to repeat. Ace draw plays right into her hands and should be in all the right places.

Race 8
11 Meant To Be
Didn't get much of a chance to get into the race last week Meant To Be (11) but the extra distance here tonight means he'll be able to settle and get moving at some stage. He's the best horse in the race and as long as his manners are there he should be the horse to beat.

Race 9
4 Got The Chocolates
The new King of the crop, Got The Chocolates (4) has probably had no right to win his last few starts but he's found that little extra that's only reserved for very good horses. The step up in distance should play into his hands beautifully and he's the one to catch.

Race 10
9 Kingman
Off the back of his NZ Cup heroics of last Tuesday, Kingman (9) returns to Addington. One of the most phenomenal winning efforts in a Cup we've ever seen and based off that alone, it's hard to imagine a scenario where he doesn't win this challenge tonight.
