Jason Grimson's gelding races at Albion Park for the first time since placing in last December's Inter Dominion Final and brings winning form having scored impressively from wide barriers in both Menangle hitouts so far this campaign.

His deeds of last season were impressive, highlighted by a win in the Group 1 Blacks a Fake over Saturday night's circuit and distance and since then ventured across the Tasman for a brilliant New Zealand Cup win.

The decision to miss the Sydney autumn carnival could prove a master stroke as Swayzee is building beautifully into another Constellations carnival and is hard to tip against on Saturday.

Cantfindabettorman looks his main rival having botched the stand start two back before relishing the return to the mobile when scoring by 4.6m at Albion Park last week.

It won't be easy to step up against the likes of Swayzee but he is race fit and in form.

Swayzee's stablemate Nerano has been coming from tough barriers at his last few outings in NSW but gets his best draw since scoring back-to-back wins at Menangle.

He performed well in Queensland during last year's Inter Dominion series so can make an impact from the low draw.

Kanena Provlima is building in fitness and should enjoy the favours from the ace draw.

Swayzee's half-sibling and arch rival Leap To Fame will also take his next step towards the winter's Group 1 features when he lines up in the Patron's Purse at Redcliffe on Friday night.

The superstar pacer passed his standing start test with another dominant victory in a Listed race at Albion Park last time to take his winning streak to 13.

He is five from five when third up and was an impressive winner the only time he raced at Redcliffe.

He should dominate from the low draw so expect him to add another win to his sequence.

In Sydney trainer Brad Hewitt will have two of his stable stars on trial for bigger assignments when they clash in the feature event at Menangle on Saturday night.

The class of his Chariots of Fire placegetter Captains Knock shone through first up when he raced three wide without cover before going on to score by 1.6m.

The four-year-old is on target for a tilt at the Racing And Sports Rising Sun in Brisbane next month and while he draws widest and tackles some accomplished rivals he is building a terrific record at this circuit and distance and should only be improved with a hitout under the belt.

Stablemate Taipo has taken on tough rivals at his last couple and blew his chances by galloping out last week but he is a big talent when on song, coming from a similar draw when scoring at Menangle three back. He should enjoy the class drop and is well up to winning this if on his game.

Hewitt has another of his Rising Sun hopefuls out to impress slot holders when last week's winner Bluto goes around in the opening race of the Menangle program.
