Tuesday’s French banker comes in the opening Quinte+ handicap from Clairefontaine

Gerard Ter Borch
(Mikel Delzangles/Antoine Hamelin) – R1 - Clairefontaine
A winner at Lignières on debut back in April, Gerard Ter Borch has looked unlucky not to get his head in front subsequently, especially in Quinte+ company where he has found the frame on three of his four starts.
An excellent runner-up in a competitive event on his handicap debut at Longchamp earlier in the season, he ran no race whatsoever next time out at Chantilly before posting back-to-back solid placed efforts over ten furlongs at Saint-Cloud.
He looks potentially well-drawn in stall three and with the step back up to a mile and a half a possible angle for further improvement, Mikel Delzangles' unexposed three-year-old gets the vote to come out on top.
