Altimus (Antoine De Watrigant/Guillaume Guedj-Gay)

Trained by Antoine de Watrigant, this unexposed three-year-old looks to have been found a workable opportunity to make a winning start in handicap company following some promising qualifying outings.

After two moderate efforts at La Teste, Altimus took his form to a new level with a decent third-place finish in a course and distance maiden last time out, shaping as though he should do better once switched to handicaps.

Back over the same track and trip, Antoine de Watrigant's son of Wooded should look to put his course experience to good use and with a kind draw in stall four to work with, he gets the nod over recent Amiens claimer winner Sir Crater.
