Wednesday’s French banker of the day is an unexposed chaser who steps up in class.

Auteuil – R6 – Prix Triquerville
Parabellum d'Oroux (Lageneste & Macaire/Kilian Dubourg)
Parabellum D'Oroux continues to go from strength to strength and heads to Auteuil on a high following three straight successes.
A winner at Bordeaux over hurdles back in March, Parabellum d'Oroux returned to action six months later to make a smooth winning chasing debut at Castéra-Verduzan.
Stepped up to Class 2 level at Fontainebleau the following month, the Lageneste & Macaire-trained four-year-old was forced to pull out all the stops to keep his unbeaten record over fences intact, but it was tough not to impressed with that way he stuck his head out that day, while he still gave the impression that there could be plenty more to come with further experience.
This step up to Listed company requires another decent sized step forward, but he's in the right hands to continue this upward trajectory and both the trip and ground will suit.
