No Lunch – (Christophe Ferland/Maxime Guyon)
Deauville – Race 6 - Prix Luthier
- Excellent all-weather record
- Well drawn
- Beat plenty of these rivals last time out
An impressive two length winner of the course and distance Listed Prix Irish River last time out, No Lunch arrives back at Deauville worse off at the weights with some of his reopposing rivals but there's a strong suspicion that it might not be enough to prevent the follow.
This well-bred son of Dubawi has been nothing short of perfect on the fibresand, winning all four outings in convincing style, while it was hard not to be impressed with the manor in which he lengthened away to beat Mount Athos last time. The reopposing Mount Athos' chances has been done no favour by the drawn in stall eleven, while in contrast Enzo Corallo should have no bother in slotting his mount into a nice position from gate two.
He continues to go the right way on this all-weather surface and with further progress possible, Christophe Ferland's charge gets a confident vote to stretch his unbeaten fibresand record.
