Busan Race 1: Class 6 (5f) Special Weight A / $32,000

Juvenile maidens with all but one of the eleven racing for the first time. (10) RACE MAN led every step of the way in his trial, stopping the clock in a time quicker than any of the rest have managed. He draws a touch wider than ideal but if he brings that form to the races, he goes very close. (8) GOOGLE CAR wasn't ready when trialing in May, but was much improved at the end of June, winning his heat with a front-running effort. It has taken him a while to get to the races, but he can be backed first-up. (3) WORLD HIT sat handy in his trial, running on for 3rd in a fair time and should be there or thereabouts. The solitary run with experience is (4) CHEONGWAN. Well back on debut he has since been back to trial and he could improve second-up. (2) DOCTOR CITY another who hinted at ability in the morning.

Selections   (10) Race Man (8) Google Car (3) World Hit (4) Cheongwan
Next Best   2, 9
Fast Start   3, 4, 6, 10

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (6f) Special Weight A / $22,000

(8) ROAD TO FIGHTER has finished 3rd in both starts so far over 5f and at this distance when settling back before racing handy. Third-up he can be peaking, and he can win. Disputing favourite status will be (9) NAMHAE YEOGEOL. She did nothing in two outings around the turn of the year but since returning from six months out, she has looked a different horse with a 3rd and a 2nd, both at this distance and most recently in a quick time on August 11th. She likes to race on-pace, and they might not get by her. (5) DREAMMA ran 4th in that August 11th race. She also has a 3rd place on her resume, and she should be in the mix again here. (3) GALLOP QUEEN and (10) B.K. MARON others in the placing frame.

Selections   (8) Road To Fighter (9) Namhae Yeogeol (5) Dreamma (3) Gallop Queen
Next Best   10, 4
Fast Start   1, 3, 9, 11

Busan Race 3: Class 6 (1M) Special Weight A / $22,000

(5) PINOT POWER enters off a 3rd and a 2nd from his latest two, most recently when leading for much of the way over 140M on August 10th and beating a couple of today's rivals. Ueda Masashi stays on, the step up to a mile can suit, and the corks can be popping today. Competitive race, though. (4) MAKE IT BETTER enters off an improved 3rd over 6 1/2f at start number two on August 11th when racing just behind the speed. In this company and from a great draw, he can be on-pace and should be in this a long way. (10) USANG RYUNG is one of just four who have tackled the mile before which he did when 2nd on August 3rd. That was his best start to date, and he can build on that here. (3) CHEONGMAUI JILJU and (6) WILD DIXIE others firmly in the hunt.

Selections   (5) Pinot Power (4) Make It Better (10) Usang Ryung (3) Cheongmaui Jilju
Next Best   6, 2
Fast Start   2, 4, 5, 11

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1M) Handicap / $43,000

(7) YOUR TURN is a winner of three from four so far with her latest coming at this class and distance on August 10th when leading all the way and stopping the clock in a time almost two seconds faster than anything else here has achieved for the mile (the track admittedly being very fast that day). She comes up 2.5kg but has won under this weight already, and she can win again. (9) ONEULISUNGAN comes in on a three-race winning streak, most recently at this class over 7f on July 7th when sitting behind the speed and running on. He comes up a full 5kg in the weights but given his running style, the step up to a mile can suit and a four-timer isn't impossible. (1) SEKWANG CHOEGANG is yet to win in eleven attempts but comes in following a 3rd place in a very quick time over 6 1/2f on August 11th. She comes up to the mile for the first time and can be competitive. (2) MORPHEUS and (10) META PRINCESS among plenty of other money hopes.

Selections   (7) Your Turn (9) Oneulisungan (1) Sekwang Choegang (2) Morpheus
Next Best   10, 4
Fast Start   2, 3, 4, 7

Busan Race 5: Class 5 (1M) Handicap / $32,000

(1) WATER DRAGON registered a 3rd and a 2nd from his first two before getting his maiden win doing proverbial handsprings on August 25th, leading all the way over 6 1/2f. He comes up in class and up a furlong and a half in trip too, but everything this jockey and trainer combination touches turns to gold right now, and he can win again. (5) GOTOTHEVALHALLA got his maiden win at class 6 over 6f two starts back before running 2nd on his first try at this class and distance on August 11th, leading for most of the way around. He should be on pace again and can be a big danger. (7) GUKDAE STAR and (6) FUERTE both come in having run 3rd in each of their respective last three starts and should be there or thereabouts again. (11) GWANGYAEUIHAMSEONG among a couple of others capable of having a say.

Selections   (1) Water Dragon (5) Gotothevalhalla (7) Gukdae Star (6) Fuerte
Next Best   11, 8
Fast Start   1, 5, 9, 10

Busan Race 6: Class 5 (7f) Handicap / $32,000

Fillies only here. (4) FANTASTIC VALUE was an emphatic winner at start number two over 6f on August 23rd, leading every step of the way. She is up in class here and is the only juvenile in the race, but she draws well, is nicely weighted, and she can win again. (7) DOCTOR ERICA returned from nine months out to win on August 23rd, leasing all the way over this distance. She comes up in class but is down 2kg in weight and if anything should strip fitter here. She'll be challenging Fantastic Value for the lead early and is a danger. (8) LASER GRIT is up in class following a maiden win at start number six on August 10th. That win had been coming and she can measure up here. (2) QUEEN'S FLETAR has placed twice at this class and along with (9) RED JASPER is another to consider.

Selections   (4) Fantastic Value (7) Doctor Erica (8) Laser Grit (2) Queen's Fletar
Next Best   9, 5
Fast Start   3, 4, 7, 11

Busan Race 7: Class 4 (6f) Handicap / $43,000

Only one of these comes in having finished outside the top three in their most recent start. So, who is going to follow up? Could it be (2) WORLD FIVE? He came from off the pace to win at class and distance on August 10th in a quick time and while he comes up 2kg in the weights, he draws well and can follow up. (6) FANTASTIC DREAM has won just once in sixteen attempts, but his recent form reads very well with a 3rd and a 2nd in his latest two. That actually brings him up in class here, but he comes down significantly in the weights and he can measure up. (10) COLUMBIA CHAMP was a class and distance winner two starts back and then ran 3rd over 7f on August 18th. She remains nicely in the wide draw shouldn't be a problem. (4) HAVE A GOOD YEAR and (9) ACE FIGHTING among plenty of others in the frame.

Selections   (2) World Five (6) Fantastic Dream (10) Columbia Champ (4) Have A Good Year
Next Best   9, 8
Fast Start   4, 5, 8, 9

Busan Race 8: Class 3 (1 1/8M) Handicap / $54,000

(3) GREAT WINNER comes in having won at this class and distance on August 10th when racing on pace throughout. He comes up a full 3.5kg in the weights but that's balanced somewhat by a nice draw, and he can win again. (2) HWANGU FIGHTER and (7) DALBITSANYANGKKUN came home in 2nd and 3rd place in that race, the former on the speed and the latter running on late. Both can be challenging again here in similar fashion. (10) VERLUC comes in having won two of his latest three, both over a mile and most recently at this class on August 16th He has previously placed over the 1 1/8M and can be in the mix here. (1) SUCCESS TIME returns to action for the first time since March, but he trialed well and looks nicely in.

Selections   (3) Great Winner (2) Hwangu Fighter (7) Dalbitsanyangkkun (10) Verluc
