Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Picture: Korea Racing Authority

(6) GEOSEN JIJON took a couple of goes to figure things out but has a 4th and a 3rd from her last two outings at 1200M and 1300M. (10) P N S JU has a 3rd and a 2nd from her latest two since returning from a three-month absence. She is not a quick starter so the wide draw shouldn't be important and at start twenty it isn't impossible that she could finally make her breakthrough. (4) JUHWA has made progress across three starts so far with 4th on his latest being his best. He draws well here and can continue to get closer. (1) GIDAEHARA and (9) K SIMON are others who can potentially improve in what is not an especially strong opener.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(1) SAINT WINNER has a 3rd and a couple of 4th places from his latest three, most recently at this distance on May 24th when handy throughout. From the inside gate, he should be on pace, and he has every chance of going all the way. (7) CHEONGRYONG GIUN has a best of 3rd from three positive starts so far. He too should be on the early speed in this company and with Moon Se-young staying aboard, he is sure to have plenty of backers. (3) HERO CHOICE has four finishes between 3rd and 5th from his six outings to date. He ran 3rd on his sole previous try at this trip, and that should be a minimum aim here. (9) TIGER K and (6) STEP BY STEP are among others who can have placing aspirations.

Selections (1) Saint Winner (7) Cheongryong Giun (3) Hero Choice (9) Tiger K

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(10) SLING STAR was 2nd on debut before winning at start number two over 1200M on May 24th, leading all the way and scoring with ease. He comes up in class and slightly in trip, but he overcame an even wider gate last time out, and he can win again. (2) LALA GIRL is yet wo win but she enters off three consecutive runner-up finishes, most recently at this class and distance on May 18th when leading for much of the way and with three of today's rivals behind here. She carries a light weight, she draws well, and she can be in this a long way again. (11) BILLION BOY was a solid maiden winner at start five over this distance on May 10th and he is another who can measure up at this level. (1) RAON SILENCE and (9) RAIN STAR are the other place chances.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Maidens with five of the eleven racing for the first time. (11) HEUIMANG TAEYO ran 2nd on debut over this distance on May 23rd, leading for most of the way before being passed late by a good winner. He has the challenge of the widest gate, but he should have come on for that run, and he will be a short-priced favourite to go one better here. Seo Seung-in rode Heuimang Taeyo in that race but today he rides debut-maker (1) WILD PARK. The Bayern colt was a trial winner at the end of May and if he brings that form to the races, he can be a threat.  (2) MOTHER WONDERFUL races for the first time since last September. She looked well winning a trial in May and can be a factor first-up. (10) DEFENSE PLAY and (3) K ROYAL others in the hunt.

Selections (11) Heuimang Taeyo (1) Wild Park (2) Mother Wonderful (10) Defense Play

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (8) LADY FOX returned from four months out to get her maiden win over this distance on May 24th, coming from well off the pace. She is up in class but down in weight and second up she can strip even fitter. (4) BEOLGYO LAVA has been consistent in three tries at this class since her maiden win back in February. She is drawn very nicely to be on pace here and she can be in this a long way. (7) KYLIE remains a maiden but came desperately close to breaking through last time when 2nd at this class and distance on May 18th. In this company, she should be firmly in the finish again (3) POETIC NUBI and (9) YES MADAM other place chances.

Selections (8) Lady Fox (4) Beolgyo Lava (7) Kylie (3) Poetic Nubi

Busan Race 2: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (7) BREEDO KELLY ran twice last summer, finishing 2nd on both occasions, and then didn't reappear until this May 25th when once more, she was 2nd at this class and distance. She should have come on for that run, Munro stays on, and she can go one better today. (11) HAMAN YEOHANGSAN enters off a smart 2nd place at this class over 1200M on May 23rd when coming from well off the pace. He comes up 2kg in weight but should be finishing strongly again, he has the fastest time among these for 1300M, and he may make for some each-way appeal. (9) QUEEN SPICY weakened having led over 1400M on her first try at this class a month go but going on her maiden win at this distance two starts back, she is worth another chance here. (3) WINNERS ROOKIE and (1) SEONGSIL SIDAE others in the placing frame.

(3) ELDORADO HEUNGBU is yet to win in eleven attempts but has no fewer than eight top five finishes. They include his latest when 3rd at this class over 1400M when he led for part of the way. He has placed twice at this distance already and from a good draw, today can be his day. (10) ECO FORE has been a revelation since coming up to this distance with his maiden win surrounded by two runner-up finishes, the latest being his first try at this class on May 11th. The same apprentice who has ridden him in those three keeps his weight low and he can be in the mix again. (8) BEOLGYO D Y was a winner at this class and distance on May 3rd, settling handy and running on. He comes up 2.5kg in weight and he does mix his form, but he can be competitive. (6) SUN CATCHER and (2) CHEONGRYONGUI CAL others to consider.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(4) YEONGGWANGUI HONEY has made steady progress across her four starts so far, culminating in her maiden win over 1400M on May 25th. She comes up in class and in trip, but she is down 3kg in weight, and she will be a warm favourite to prevail again. (1) TIP TAP was an all the way maiden winner over 1300M on April 27th. That win had been coming and while he too is up in class and in distance, he is also down in weight, draws well, and can measure up. (7) RIVERSTONE has taken a couple of efforts to acclimatize to this class but he is a winner over a mile and can be a danger here with Franco, who is one for oe on him, returning to the mount. (9) MATONGNYEONG and (3) ARION TAEYANG others in the placing frame.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(1) CHEONGSAN JILJU was an also-ran in the Korean Derby last month but before that was 3rd at this class and distance in April. That Derby effort was one of only two times that he has been outside of the top five and back in shallower waters today, he can return to winning ways. (4) STUNNING MONEY is the main danger. He enters having won at this class over 1800M on May 18th when handy throughout and while he comes up 3.5kg in weight, he draws well and can be in the mix again. (7) TONNERRE beat Stunning Money as the pair finishes 1st and 2nd over 1800M at this class in April when making all and while he was a long way back in that May 18th race, he gets another chance. (3) HANGANG GLORY and (2) AUSTIN LEADER are the other chances.

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(2) WORLD LIST CAT was a front-running winner over this distance on May 18th, scoring comfortably. That was her second win in five starts and while it brings her up in class, she is down in weight, she draws well, and she can win again. (4) HUIMANG RANI won her first two before losing her way slightly although she did run a fair 6th in the Luna Stakes. She is one for one at this trip and returning to it could be what she needs. (11) MEETING ST was a class and distance winner on May 9th, racing on pace throughout. She is up in weight and has the challenge of the widest gate, but she can be in the mix again. (9) BRUG KINGMAN and (3) GEUMA DOMINANT other place chances in what is a competitive race.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Tricky one. (5) GWANAKSAN TIGER returned from more than a year out to run a fair 5th of eleven over this distance in April. He has since been back to trial, which he one, and while his fitness will have to be taken on trust, Moon Se-young rides, and he may well win. (9) GRAY CANDY beat four of today's rivals on his way to 2nd place at this class and distance on May 11th when racing handy. He carries his fair share of weight here but with similar tactics, he can beat plenty again and is probably the main danger. (2) GEUNYANG GARA enters off back-to-back 3rd place finishes, including behind Gray Candy in that May 11th race and under a light weight and from a good gate, he can be close again. (10) CALM IN STORM and (6) SHINING ROAD others in the hunt.

Busan Race 5: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(9) WORLD WINNERS MAN has won his latest three, all over a mile, and in contrasting styles, most recently from on pace on May 11th. He comes up in class, as well as up to two turns for the first time, but he is down a full 4kg in weight, and he can make it four in a row here. (10) SOLEDAD came from off the pace to run a good 2nd place at this class and distance on May 18th having also run 4th in a tough Trophy race in April. The 1800M is her go, and she can be a danger. (2) YEONGGWANGUIPRINCE beat four of today's rivals on his way to 2nd at class and distance on May 25th, coming from well back. He mixes his form but can be there or thereabouts again. (1) JANGSAN LEMON and (11) DEMON SPY are others in the placing frame.

Seoul Race 8: Class 2 (2000M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(4) SATANG SONYEO is a winner of three from seven, most recently at class 3 level over 1800M on May 31st. She comes up in class, as well as up to the 2000M for the first time, but there is no reason why the distance can't suit, and she can win again. (1) THUNDER DREAM beat three of today's rivals on his way to 2nd place at this class over 1800M on May 4th. He comes up 2kg in weight but that continued a recent run of consistent form, and he can be in the mix here. None of these have won at 2000M, but (8) MAGLE DAY has the fastest time for the distance among those who have attempted it, and entering off back-to-back runner-up finishes and under a very light weight, he should be close again. (10) ARGO RICH and (7) COWBOY TANGO others to consider on a place line.

Selections (4) Satang Sonyeo (1) Thunder Dream (8) Magle Day (10) Argo Rich

Busan Race 6: Class 2 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

A winner of three in a row across the turn of the year, since his streak came to an end, (9) SMART BOSS has run 3rd in a Trophy race in April and then 6th at 2000M on May 23rd. That distance may have been a bit much too soon but dropping down to a mile today, he can return to winning ways. (6) MR.KEYMAN has been 2nd in both his latest two, both at a mile and in stiff company. He carries a big weight today but can be in the mix again. (1) LAST DRAGON had a hard time over 2000M last time out, but he is one for one at a mile and should be happier today. (7) BACCHUS and (2) GLORY CORWN are others who may have a say in the placings.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

After running 8th on debut last December, (1) NO PROBLEM was gelded and returned in April and has since won twice, both at 1200M. That brings him up rapidly in class as well as stepping up to the 1400M for the first time, but neither should be a problem, and he can complete his hat-trick here. (2) AWESOME QUEEN is similarly on a hat-trick having won her latest two. In her case both at 1300M. She too is rapidly up in class but draws well to be on pace, and she can measure up. (8) CHUPUNGNYEONG was a good winner over 1300M on May 24th and up in class and down in wright, can be competitive. As for those with class 4 experience, (9) TOUCH CHARM and (6) YONGBI TAEYANG look the best.

Seoul Race 10: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(10) BLUE NELLO got his maiden win at start number three over this distance on May 24th. He comes up 4kg in weight, but he gets another crack at class 4 and the Gift Box colt will be strongly favoured to win again. (1) SPINNING KANT is winless from ten tires but has been getting closer, culminating in a runner-up finish at 1200M on May 18th when settling midfield and running on. He is lightly weighted and well drawn, and while he hasn't previously had much luck at 1400M, should be ready for another go. (11) MALHANEUNDAERO did nothing on debut in January but was much better when returning with a 2nd place on May 25th. His running style suggests the extended trip can suit and he can continue to make progress here. (6) HI KHAN and (8) WONDERFUL LORD are other placing chances.

Selections (10) Blue Nello (1) Spinning Kant (11) Malhaneundaero (6) Hi Khan

(1) RAON TIMOTH won at this class over 1400M back in January and has since registered a 4th, 3rd and a 2nd from three subsequent outings. That 2nd last time out was his first time over a mile and he will be a hot favourite to go one better today. (3) DONGJIN BULPAE is the only other one who enters with recent form reading well. He races for the first time since April 6th when 4th to Raon Timoth's 3rd at 1400M and under a light weight, he can be a danger. (2) PINK WIND has placed twice at a mile and under a light weight, that's enough to have her in line for the minors here. (5) SAINT LUCCA and (7) DREAM PLAY others who can improve on recent efforts.
