Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Juvenile maidens although all but two have raced before. (12) EVERY TIME debuted on August 30th and from a wide draw settled handy and ran on to run 2nd at this distance, beating three of today's rivals in the process. He draws even wider this time but the step up in trip can suit and he is the one to beat. (11) SEVEN KAISER led that August 30th race before ultimately finishing in 3rd place. He too should have come on for that run and while he may be more disadvantaged by the draw, he can be a danger. (10) KING MASTER has raced twice already, finishing 3rd both times at this distance. Moon Se-young stays on and with his experience and potential fitness edge, he can go close. (2) MASTER PLAN and (6) GEOSEN DOLGYEOK are others who may improve from their respective debuts.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(4) STORM TROOPER has shown plenty of promise across his three starts so far, most recently beating a couple of today's rivals when 3rd over 1300M on August 31st, leading for much of the wat. Maia has ridden him all three times and from a great draw they can lead again, and this time go all the way. (3) ECLIPSE TANGO enters off back-to-back 3rd places over this distance. He is another who likes to get forward early and he can be in this a long way. (7) AWESOME STEP was an improved 2nd over 1300M on August 17th, coming from way off the pace. The slight step up in trip can suit, and she can be a danger late on. (10) HWANGGEUM MASK and (6) SAENAE FIGHTER others in the frame.

Seoul Race 3: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(8) FUNNY TAP has a 3rd and a 2nd in two starts since being promoted to this level following a June win. They were both at this distance and both times from her favoured on pace position. She can lead here and can go one better. (11) KING WARRIOR comes up in class having scored over 1300M on August 17th when leading all the way around. He has the challenge of the widest gate, but he comes down 3kg in weight and he can measure up. (2) ORANGE TIME is a two-time winner at this distance and enters off a smart 2nd at this class on August 2nd. He likes to come from off the pace and can be a late danger. (7) CANVASEN GO and (10) GIANT BOSS others to consider on at least a place line.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(10) JUST SHINY has mixed his form over five outings to date but has a 2nd and most recently a 3rd place to his name, scored at 1300M on August 17th when handy throughout. The draw shouldn't be much of a concern, Seo Seung-un stays on, and he can win here. (5) JIJONSANBANG was 2nd on debut in June (albeit fifteen lengths behind the winner) and last time out beat a couple of these when 5th on August 31st. He tends to do his best work late and the step up in trip can suit. In a race with little in the way of early speed (3) CARAT KING, who was 4th last time out, can lead and be in this a long way. (7) SMOOTH KICK and (4) FINAL HIT others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Wide open. (2) SMILE NAMSAN has raced just twice but finds herself up in class and massively up in distance after back-to-back runner-up finishes over 1200M. She comes down in the weights, draws well, and she could be shrewdly entered here. (4) X FACTOR hot his maiden win at 1400M on August 24th racing handy throughout. He is up in class and in distance but is down in weight and he can measure up. (6) GROW enters off a 3rd place at this class and distance on September 13th when coming from off the pace. She has pretty much the same weight today and she can be in the finish again. (3) BS STORM and (9) SHARKTEN are others who can be in the mix.

Busan Race 2: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(5) TRIPLE DREAM was a winner at this class in filly only company at 1200M two starts back before running a close 4th on August 29th when handy to the speed throughout. She comes up to 1400M for the first time and it could well suit. (7) YONGAM BLACK beat a couple of these on his way to a front-running 2nd at 1300M on August 9th. He was well beaten by a good winner but should be on pace again here and has every chance of going one better. (2) DOCTOR SOLAR got his maiden win over this distance on September 5th taking things up halfway home and running on. He is up in class but down 3.5kg in weight and he can be competitive again. (6) DAEGIL HERO and (11) ROAD TO HEUIMANG, the latter requiring a line through his latest, are others to keep in mind.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(7) DRAGON KILLER has been no worse than 3rd in five starts to date and come sin following his maiden win at this distance at the end of June. That came at this class and while he is up in weight and fresh after thirteen weeks out, he can win again. (5) BEST PITCH was a winner on debut in a juvenile maiden over 1000M on August 30th, settling handy and running on. He is up in class and in trip and faces his seniors here, but he should have come on for the run, is down in weight, and can be a danger. (1) SAENAE CLASSIC has run 4th in two starts back since a nine-month layoff. Third-up he can be peaking fitness wise and can go close. (9) LALA GIRL and (11) GEUMSEONG YEOJE among other chances.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (8) SWEET BELLE got her maiden win at start three over 1300M on August 1st when leading all the way around. She came close to repeating the trick on her first try at this class on August 29th before ultimately finishing 3rd and while she is up slightly in both weight and trip, she has as good a chance as any here. (9) LADY OF WIN was a very close 2nd on her first try at class 5 over 1400M on August 17th. She is up 3kg in weight but should be in the mix again. (11) QUEEN SPICY has more experience at this level and placed at this distance in July. Seo Seung-un climbs on for the first time and that means she will have plenty of backers. (3) META V and (10) SEOGWI STAR also on the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(2) GLOBAL SERVE won at this class over 1300M in July when leading all the way. He couldn't get to the lead on his first try at this distance on August 30th, ultimately finishing 5th of ten, but he comes into a better gate today and looks the one to beat. (1) PURGE STEP returns to racing for the first time since winning over 1400M at class 5 level in April. She looked very good when 2nd in a quick trial two weeks ago and while this isn't an easy first-up assignment, she can go well. (6) DREAM RIDGE returned from a four-month absence on August 23rd and ran a strong 2nd over 1400M. He should strip fitter for that run and while he has his fair share of weight, he can be a danger. (8) GANDAGO and (10) CHOWON DOLPUNG among others to look out for. 

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(2) CARIBBEAN BAY has won his latest two, both at this class and distance racing handy and beating a few of today's rivals in the process. He gets yet another crack at class 4 and while he is up 3.5kg in weight, he draws well and there is no reason why he can't complete his hat-trick. (5) MATONGNYEONG has only missed the top three once and comes in following a win over a mile on August 22nd. He comes up in class but already has a 3rd place to his name at 1800M and down in weight, he can be a danger. (10) FAT BOY and (4) BLUE POINT ran 2nd and 3rd behind Caribbean Bay on August 31st and both can be in the mix today. (7) BEST CHAMP among plenty of others with at least placing claims.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(5) CHOEGANG GOLD is three for three with his wins coming between March and April all around two turns and all from the front. He is up in class for his return after a layoff of seventeen weeks, but he looked in good form when a close 2nd on a quick trial on September 18th. He can pick up from where he left off here. (10) CLAIR BIG BANG is also up in class having won three in a row, most recently at 1500M on August 24th. She tackles two turns for the first time but her running style suggests it should suit and coming down 3kg in weight, she has every chance of making it four. (2) NAOL DAEWANG doesn't win out of turn, but recent form reads well, and he remains under a light weight. (9) LEGEND WOW and (6) GOMANARU others who can go close.

Busan Race 5: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

Fillies and mares only here. (8) YEOSU SUPER STAR has three wins and two places from five starts so far, most recently saluting over this class and distance on August 24th when on pace throughout. She is up 3kg in weight, but she will be a hot favourite to repeat. (3) WORLD TOP TIER's maiden win at the end of June was one of the biggest winning margins ever at the track and following a shaky return in July, she won at class 5 level over 1300M on August 31sr, settling midfield and running on. She is up in class and up to a mile for the first time, but she carries a very light weight and can be competitive. (4) LASER GRIT is a two-time winner at a mile and enters off 4th place at class and distance on August 29th and can be in the frame again. (7) YEONGGWANGUI HONEY and (1) FLYING MENACE other place hopes.

Seoul Race 8: Class Open (1800M) Class Open / Special Weight B / Ilgan Sports Trophy (KOR-Listed) / KRW 200 Million

It has "listed" status but also has a rating cap of 80. There are five last start winners and no fewer than nine who finished in the top three in their respective latest outings. (10) ECLIPSE THE KING was 3rd in May's Korean Derby having led for most of the way. His only outing since was a win at class 3 level over a mile on July 20th and coming in fresh, he can win here. (9) USEUNG CONCORD has won his latest three, most recently at class 2 level over 1400M at the end of June. He placed on a previous try at this distance, and he looked well when winning an August trial. (8) EUNPA SARANG won the 2024 Korean Derby and has run 3rd in his latest two and may offer some each-way appeal. (3) MANDAERO and (6) MAGLE DAY came home 1st and 2nd at class 2 over this distance on August 30th and look to be the other main players.

Busan Race 6: Class 2 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(8) WINNER CLEAR has run 4th in both his latest two, coming from off the pace. He drops back to the distance at which all his four wins have come and under a light weight, he can return to winning ways today. (6) BREEDO PRINCE returns to racing for the first time since last October. Before the layoff he was assembling a very good record with a win at this class and some fast times for the 1200M. He won an August trial and can go well first-up today. (9) KING ANYDAY was overmatched in the Korea Sprint at Seoul three weeks ago but this is much more amenable assignment and he can be close. (3) TAEWANG SINGI and (1) SKY ROJO, the latter lightning quick in a trial two weeks ago, are others in the frame.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(6) CAROLCHAT got his maiden win at start three at this class and distance on August 30th, racing on pace throughout. He gets in nicely again here and he can repeat. (1) SYDNEY YEONGUNG was a winner on debut over 1000M in July before running 5th on his first try at this class and distance on August 30th when handy throughout. He should have come on for the experience and can be fitter here. (7) GI YEON was an improved 2nd at start two over 1000M on August 16th, racing on pace and beating two of today's rivals, including Carolchat. He carries a light weight and should be on pace again. (3) CRAZY STAR and (9) GLORY YEONGGWANG are others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(2) RAON TIMOTH is an ultra-consistent type and comes in fresh here fourteen weeks after running 2nd over a mile in June. He is a two-time winner at this distance and from a good draw he can be on or close to the speed and he can go all the way. (5) DRAGON KINGDOM was an on pace 2nt at this class over a mile on August 30th, briefly hitting the front with a furlong to run. He stays under a light weight and can be a danger here. (10) LOVE COWGIRL comes up in class after a win at this distance on August 17th. She carries a very light weight, and she can measure up. (6) HERO SOCKS and the up in class (9) BREEDO SIRIS are others who can enter the calculations.

Seoul Race 11: Class 1 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 110 Million

Class 1 but with a rating cap of 100. (2) WONPYEONG STORM is a winner of six from nine with two of his defeats coming in Group company and the latest in a somewhat flat effort over a mile at the beginning of August. He has since been through a trial where he came close to the 1000M track record, Ruan Maia, who rode him in in that trial, rides him in a race for the first time, and he should return to winning ways here, probably leading all the way. (8) NORTHERN TIME was a class and distance winner in July before running 6th of eleven in the KRA Cup Classic on August 3rd. Capable of coming from off the pace, he can be a danger here. (4) BLACK BELT was underwhelming in his latest effort at 2000M a month ago but can be given another chance. (3) NEULGAEUL and (6) MEGA DRAGON others in the hunt.
