Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Juvenile maidens with five of the eleven racing for the first time. (2) CHRYSOL STEP was an improved 2nd at start number two over this distance on October 18th, settling just behind the speed and running on. Maia stays on and he can be peaking here. (9) CHOEGO GOLD has similarly made progress with a 5th followed by a 2nd from his two outings to date, most recently showing on pace. He will be on pace again and can be in this a long way. Among the newcomers, (4) GOLDEN MATCH won his trial and that's enough to put him into contention first up here. (3) BEAT FRESH was 2nd in a quicker heat than that of Golden Match and similarly can go well. Returning to the experience (11) POWERFUL PRADO can improve from her debut.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

After running 5th on debut in June, (3) GLOBAL DREAMS was an improved 2nd at start number two in August, racing on pace over 1200M. He has had a further three months off since then but in this company and well-drawn, he has every chance of going all the way. (7) HAKSAN SWORD was 2nd on debut over 1000M on October 18th, settling behind the speed and running on. He should have come on for that run and shapes as the main danger here. (2) AMOS CHEOGANG did nothing on debut almost a year ago. He hasn't been seen since, but he looked well in a trial at the end of October and can be a different prospect this time around. (11) BLISS STAR had a hard time in Listed juvenile company last time out but should be much more comfortable today. (6) EAN FIRST, back to trial after his latest, another in the hunt.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

We'll take a chance on (1) HORIZON STAR here. He has run on pleasingly enough from wide draws and unpromising positions in his first two starts and today he finally gets a good draw and an extra furlong to play with Third-up he can be peaking and he can win. (9) MASTER PLAN got a bit far back when well supported on his latest start, ultimately only making it up to 6th place. We'll go on his 3rd place two outings back, however, which can put him right in the mix here. (4) GLORY JOY has picked up in his latest two with a 4th and a 5th and she can be aiming to better that in this company. (8) ROAD TO SPEAR and (6) MACHEON WORLD others in the hunt.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Fillies only in this maiden. (3) GOLDEN EMPIRE was a close 2nd on debut over 1000M in September before struggling with a hot pace when favourite over the same trip on October 17th and finishing 6th. The step up in trip should suit, she draws well, and she is the one to beat. (2) YURIM ACE was an improved 2nd in a similar filly maiden on October 24th, shoeing close to the front throughout in a slowly run race. She draws well to be on the lead again, Seo Seung-un stays on, and she is the danger. (9) HIGH BEAUTY was 4th on debut behind Golden Empire back in September. She hasn't raced since but should have benefited for that run and can match or better that here. (4) WE STRONG and newcomer (7) ZITA are others to consider on a place line.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies only here. (1) BISANG BELL has got a bit far back in three tries at this class since getting her maiden win back in June but she has finished between 2nd and 4th on each occasion. She comes up to 1400M for the first time and from a good draw, she can be a little closer to the action a little earlier today, and she can win. (6) MYEONG DREAM was a comfortable winner at start number two over 1200M on October 4th, settling midfield and running on. She is up in class and in trip but can be a danger. So too can (9) MUNHAK DAESE. She made her breakthrough at start three over 1200M in similarly emphatic fashion and with CC climbing on for the first time, she can measure up. (4) KARA K and (10) HYEWONYONGMA are other chances.

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(7) SINCHEON FREEDOM is yet to win in eleven attempts but has some near misses including a 3rd place at this distance two starts back when racing on pace. Her best finishes have come when she has been on pace and with little early speed to worry about here, she can lead and potentially go all the way. (5) SEINE GANG has four top five finishes from five starts. He comes up to 1400M for the first time and with Seo Seung-un staying on, it can suit. He needs to overturn the form on (1) DIA X who beat Seine Gang as the pair finished 2nd and 4th respectively over 1300M on October 4th. Dia X mixes his form but draws well here and can be a danger. (9) VORTEX and (3) BAEKPAL BOEUN will be the two next best in the market.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Ater back-to-back runner-up finishes at this class and distance, (8) YEONGGWANGUI SKY will be a short price favourite here. He will be on pace, an apprentice jockey (who rode a double last Saturday) keeps his weight nice and light, and he should have too much for this field. (2) SLING STAR races for the first time since June when he was 3rd at this class over 1300M. He has been through two trials with the latest just a week ago when in contrast to his racing he style, he settled back before running on to record a pair of decent times. He probably won't hang around from gate two and he should be in this a long way. (5) GOOD FRIEND was only ordinary last time out but she has placed twice at this trip and can be an each-way chance here. (3) SSAK DANAEUN and (7) BREEDO KING STAR others who could compete for the minors.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(9) DAESEONG GOLD was a winner on debut over 1000M on October 4th, leading from the gate and scoring with plenty to spare. He comes up in class and in trip but the manner of that victory suggests that there is more to come, and he is favoured to make it two from two here. (11) META V got her maiden win at start two over 1200M in August, leading all the way, before running 4th over 1300M at the end of September. She has the challenge of the widest gate here, but she carries a light weight, and she can be dangerous. (6) SHANGHAI THUNDER arrested a little slump when 2nd at this class and distance on October 19th and that puts him in the frame here. (5) HOLY NIKE and (4) REMENT among others with at least placing chances.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(6) HANGANG FANTASTIC enters off a solid 4th place at 1800M last time out but he is competent at this trip too with a win and a 2nd from three tries at it. He carries a light weight, draws well in the middle, and he can win. (1) BAKCHARA is yet to win in nine attempts but has put in some decent efforts at various distances. From the inside gate, he can get a soft run to the lead here and he can be in this a long way. (3) GOLD QUEENS has six top four finishes from eight starts and has won at this distance which is enough to put her in the mix in this very modest company. The returning (4) YONGBI HERO along with (2) FREE THE ONE are others who may play a role.

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

It's about time (3) NAEPYEON returned to winning ways. He has four 2nd places and a 3rd from his last five appearances and beat several of these last time out on October 24th at this class and distance. He has his fair share of weight, but he draws well and today can be the day. If he does find one too quick again, it could be (9) FANTASTIC BLUE. He beat Naepyeon when the pair ran 2nd and 3rd two starts back in September and while Naepyeon returned the favour in that October 24th race, he is lightly weighted and a danger. (1) BROWN ROOKIE was a winner over 1300M on October 19th leading all the way. That brings him up in class as well as up to 1400M for the first time, and he can measure up. (11) WIND ABLE struggled on his return from a year out at the end of October but should strip fitter for that and can be given another chance today. (2) QUEEN AND SERVE another in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(8) RAON THE AFFIRMED took eight goes to get her maiden win which arrived at the end of August, but she evidently enjoyed it as she promptly followed up with another on October 19th when again leading gate to wire over 1300M. She comes up in class here and while she doesn't get a weight drop, she can measure up. (5) MEGA STEP was a winner over 1300M at class 5 level two starts back before running 2nd on her first try at this class on October 3rd. She has placed twice at 1400M and can be a danger from off the pace. (3) SAENAE KHAN and (1) UNIVERSAL are both up in class but down in weight following last start wins and both can be competitive in this company. (7) GEOSEN POKJU, 3rd at class and distance last time out, is another in the hunt.

Busan Race 5: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(7) DUSTIN MARINE was a class and distance winner two starts back before running 2nd to Ajanta on October 4th but beating a few of today's rivals. He is up in weight today but in this company, he can be ridden to the lead from the start, and he can go all the way. (4) STORM FIGHTER was behind Dustin Marine in August but got a class and distance win of his own on September 26th when settling midfield and running on. He comes up 4kg as a result but can be competitive again. (10) SEOGWI FLASH was a huge price 3rd at class and distance on October 31st and warrants more respect this time. (9) WORLD WINNERS MAN and (3) FIRE MAGIC others in the placing frame.

Seoul Race 8: Class Open (1200M) Special Weight A / Gwacheon Mayor's Trophy (Juvenile Listed) / KRW 200 Million

While the top locally bred juveniles head to the Breeders' Cup Rookie next week, imported ones get a chance at a decent prize here. We'll side with a local though and (6) WONPYEONG SKET would certainly have qualified for the trip to Busan next week but goes here after running 2nd to Mujehan Geup and then to Chief Star (who will be favourites for the big race next week) in Juvenile Series races, leading both times before being ground down. She is well drawn here. Maia knows her well, and she can lead all the way. (4) GEUDAEMANIDDAMYEON was an eye-catching winner at start number two over this distance on October 18th. He draws very well to challenge Wonpyeong Sket for the early lead and is a big danger. (1) ROOFTOP is one for one having beaten Geudaemaniddamyeon when they debuted together over 1000M in September. He can have come on for that. (9) MY EMPIRE and (10) MIGHTY CODE others with every chance.

Busan Race 6: Class 2 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(2) PRIME SECRET has won three in a row at 1400M and a mile in quick times and up to class 3 level racing on or close to the pace each time. He comes up in class here but is in fresh following nine weeks out, and he can continue on his merry way. (7) UNJU GUY was 2nd in May's Korean Derby and while he was overpowered in the President's Cup at Seoul a month ago, he was a winner at this class over 2000M in August. He is fairly weighted here and can be close. (6) ONEULISUNGAN comes out of the G3 Kookje Shinmun over 1400M three weeks ago where he was a very respectable 6th of sixteen. Prior to that he was a close 2nd at this class and distance, and he will be in the mix. (8) DOCTOR KINGDOM and (4) BACCHUS other place chances.

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(9) MORE THAN JOKE hasn't quite lived up to his early promise but he was a fair 5th of twelve in a valuable Trophy race in September before being the beaten favourite when again 5th over 1400M at this class on October 18th. He is one for one at a mile though and under a light weight, he can win again. Probably market elect will be (8) MARU JANGGUN. He ran 5th on his first try at this class over 1800M on October 25th having done very good work over shorter distances on his way through the grades. This is his first time at a mile, but he should be on pace and in this a long way. That pair will fill out most quinellas with (2) GEUMBIT CHEONHA, consistent if unspectacular, the next best. (5) SAINT LUCCA and (7) SEOBU TEUKSONG the next bests.

Seoul Race 10: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(10) ECLIPSE BLACK was an all the way winner at this class and distance on October 19th, his second score over 1800M. He comes up 2kg in weight and he has the challenge of the widest gate, but he can repeat. (9) CHARMING QUEEN has two wins and three 2nd places from five outings to date, most recently winning on her first try at this distance. She is up in class but down in weight and she looks to have plenty of potential for more. (3) TAMRA CHOEGANGJA doesn't win out of turn but rarely runs a bad race and enters off a 3rd place at class and distance that is very much repeatable here. (6) AMAZING ROCK and (8) CAMP DAVID are the other place chances.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (2000M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(3) G MOTION ran 4th in the Listed Ilgan Sports in September before winning at this class and distance on October 18th, settling midfield and then running on. He comes up a full 5kg in weight, but he can be equal to that, and he can win again. (5) DRONE KILLER was 3rd in a valuable Trophy race over 1800M two starts back and then ran 2nd at this class over 1800M on October 4th. An apprentice claiming 4kg keeps his weight nice and low and he can be a danger here. (6) TAEPYEONG HERO was 4th on a previous try at this distance and enters following the same finish over 1800M at the end of August. He beat a couple of today's rivals that day and can beat plenty here. (7) MONTAUK CHAT and (2) GIANT PUNCH other minor money chances.
