Former Australian galloper Shinjuku receives an opportunity to break the Malaysian duck when he steps out in the 1700m Class 4A this Saturday.

Shinjuku , a two-time winner in Australia, has finished runner up on three occasions from four local starts. His only blemish was an unplaced effort in the Selangor Mile two starts back when he was simply outclassed.

The Simon Dunderdale trained five year old indicated a return to his original form with a fast finishing 2nd to Pacific Star over 1600m here last Saturday.

Jockey Marc Lerner is coming off a winning treble last Sunday and will ride SHINJUKU for the first time.
