Two of Malaysia’s premier gallopers are set to provide an enthralling clash in the 1600m G1 Selangor Gold Cup at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Antipodean and Lucky Magic have only met each other once where LUCKY MAGIC proved dominant in the 4YO Selangor Mile on July 20 with ANTIPODEAN flashing home to finish 3rd, 2.5 lengths from the winner.
LUCKY MAGIC hasn't started since, however he races well when freshened and the duel group winner boasts an excellent record over the mile.

ANTIPODEAN returned to his best with a 1400m win last start as he attempts to defend his title in the second leg of the Triple Crown series.
PLATINUM EMPEROR has won three from four locally, including the Wilyah Silver Bowl in February, and is capable of surprising.
