Race Summary: FEEL THE WIND didn't do badly from her outside gate last time and having drawn well this time should give cheek. However, she will need to improve on her finish. ARCTIC FURY wasn't far behind her and has scope for good improvement. ARJUNA met winners in her second start and needs to be respected as well. Well-bred Vercingetorix filly SWEET DREAMER didn't look too comfortable on debut and could have plenty to come. More can improve but there are also well-bred newcomers who could grab the spoils. Follow the betting moves closely.

Race 2
Race Summary: Race 2 looks a two-horse affair between DAPPER and BURNING MAN. The former has sprinted well but also showed he can go further with a pleasing run over 1600m last time. If he gets the extra he should have every chance. BURNING MAN finished close up when setting the pace in his penultimate run and last time relaxed behind runners before finishing second again. He looks ready for a winning effort as well. Watch out for KINNIKINNIK who showed some potential when fourth on poly debut. He gives the impression he may relish ground.

Race 3
Race Summary: FACILE had a valid excuse in her last start but still ran a decent race. She has scope for further improvement over this longer trip but only the race will show if she is effective. YELLOW JACKET shows good pace and having run two good races in a row will be super fit. She could get away from her field if having the requisite stamina. SILVER JUBILEE wasn't far off FACILE when they met and had to overcome a wide gate. She now has draw No 1 and could make it count. Watch out for improvement from HAT'S LADY who has also been given a plum position. More can earn.

Race 4
Race Summary: Competitive fillies-and-mares handicap. FAIZAH produced a solid performance to win over 1750m and looks capable of repeating over 1950m. She has the benefit of jumping from stall No 1. HOT STRIKE flashed by stable companion ESCAPOLOGIST over the course and distance and could also follow up if getting the race run to suit again. WOODLAND GLADE looked dangerous in the closing stages on the poly last time and if she can bring that form to the turf could notch up another victory. BALLROOM BLISS has run some crackers and is not one to ignore in these.

Race Summary: THE REAL PRINCE is the one to watch. He impressed on debut and looks to have needed his comeback on the poly last time. STRATHCLYDE can complete a hat-trick on the form that he is in. He is hard to pass by but is dropping in trip and has drawn a bit wide. GOOD TRAVELLER often runs well without winning. This could be his turn. QUANDARY is a course specialist and cannot be taken lightly even though drawn very wide. PLAZA ACCORD could have finished closer but for interference last time. COMMON GROUNDS and EXCEPT TEMPTATION are two of many with claims.

Race Summary: PURPLE POWAHOUSE continues to be costly and has battled to get up. But one of his best runs was at this track a few months back and if he can find that form he could finally score again. SPIRITED FLIGHT confirmed recent improvement with a solid third place finish in a competitive fillies-and-mares contest last time. This 1000m trip could suit. GOLD AGENT shows good pace on the Highveld and is another who could be right there at the end. BUSTER KEATON races for a stable that has been bubbling under and it could be the right race for him. More can earn.

Race Summary: MALCOLM'S DREAM stayed on resolutely to win over 1400m at this track again last time. She loves the track and if the extra 100m doesn't pose a challenge she could add to her tally. ZINIKELE looked a bit unlucky not to challenge her when having to switch after being awkwardly placed. She could have her turn this time. MASCHERINA has yet to win at this track but has run well enough to warrant a serious chance, especially over the slightly shorter distance and if held up until late. MOUNTAINSOFTHEMOON and MY LADY SOUL are capable types who can be included.

Race Summary: PRINCEOFGREEN made no show on the poly after a promising run in a Highveld feature. He deserves another chance especially as he has drawn well again. GOLDEN PEACE has solid form at this venue and should test him even if having drawn wide this time. Watch out for BUGALUGS who from last produced a storming finish to win at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He must have stamina if judged on pedigree. DOWN BY THE RIVER and CANFORD ICE reserve their best for this track and could be dangerous over this distance. KITCHAKAL has class but has drawn widest, still must be respected.
