Race 1
Race Summary: CORAL CREEK is not an easy ride but he may be a bit better than these rivals. DAWN CLOUD tries sprinting again and could earn some money. DYNAMITE JET showed vast improvement last time out and could earn some minor money. ALL ABOUT LOVE has not shown much so far but could improve having made the trip from the Western Cape. PRINCE ANTONIO seems better than his disappointing last run. STRING OF LIGHTS and ICE CAP have been struggling to win a race but are capable of contesting the finish again.

Race 2
Race Summary: Trainer Gavin Smith bounced back to form earlier this week with a couple of winners and OLIVER TWIST is improving and should make a bold bid at scoring. KOHANA has got better with each run of late and can go one better over this longer distance. STORM BOULEVARD was not disgraced behind a good winner last time and deserves respect. MAYOR OF MERRIVALE and AGAMEMNON are both battling to win a race but are capable of earning some money.

Race 3
Race Summary: A competitive maiden field. BEER WITH THE BOYS has not shown much so far but could like this longer distance and deserves some respect. ORANJEMUND tended to lack a strong finish in his races on the Highveld but would not be a surprise winner. GLOBAL REEF was an expensive failure on local debut but that was on the Polytrack and he should fight out the finish back on the turf. TAKE A MULLIGAN was an unlucky loser earlier this year on the turf and can bounce back to be a threat back on the grass. ANCHOR MAN has improved of late and is another who can contest the finish.

Race 4
Race Summary: An interesting race. MONTELENA is weighted to be an easy winner but she was well beaten the last time she ran on the grass. MAKHACHEV has ability but does not always show it. He is capable of winning. HOLOCENE impressed on the Polytrack last time out but will need to do it all again on the turf this time. HEART STEALER and CAPTAIN OF GRIT make their local debuts and would not be surprise winners. POMO'S BIG SPENDER was a game winner last time out and could have more to offer.

Race 5
Race Summary: CRUISE CONTROL returned from KZN in very good form and was a wide-margin winner last time out. He has a very good record with his current rider and should score again. CLIFF TOP flopped in KZN but has beaten CRUISE CONTROL a couple of times and deserves respect. SPEED MACHINE finished strongly last time out and could get closer to CRUISE CONTROL this time. EVIES FIRST is always competitive and can earn some more money. FIRST ORIGIN and JEWEL CAT are also capable of earning some money.

Race 6
Race Summary: DANCINGTOTHELIGHT picked up a 6-point penalty for a very easy last handicap win which was over this course and distance. He can follow up. DESTINY'S ANGEL has been very effective over this track and trip and should contest the finish once again. MO THE MAN makes his local debut and could improve. PEDRO likes this track and trip and is not out of it. MEETATTHEWINDSOR and MR MOLONY are both in good form and can earn some more money.

Race 7
Race Summary: A competitive race. KNOCKOUT is better than his last run suggests but does have to give weight to all his rivals. GIDEON'S DAUGHTER is consistent but might need this run returning from a break. AS FATE HAS IT has been very good of late, but her penalties may start to catch up. BACK FOR MORE is consistent and should run well from a good draw. Stable companion STRANGE MAGIC has stable jockey Richard Fourie aboard so could be the stable elect. SUN SPECTACULAR can make the frame.

Race 8
Race Summary: A tough last race and it may pay to load up in the Pick 6 for this leg. HAROLD THE DUKE has been a disappointment but will carry a light weight and could pop up. SPIN DOCTOR showed improvement last time and can go one better. NO PLACE LIKE HOME is in good shape and is clearly not out of it. PREVALENCE liked the shorter distance when scoring last time out and could be just as effective over this distance. PAINITE is consistent and can contest the finish yet again. ANATOLIAN SILVER and ELECTRIC STORM are improving and cannot be dismissed easily.
