Race Summary: EMOYENI caught the eye when finishing strongly for second from well off the pace in his 1000m debut. If not too green first time round the turn he could score over 1400m. GOOD LIVING is better than his last few over shorter. He has run well over the distance and could offer value for a TAB Win and Place dividend. STAR OF THE FUTURE was beaten in a close finish over further. If not minding the drop in distance he could take advantage from a decent barrier stall. There wasn't much between LAVA BURST and PRINCE FLORIAN last time. The latter has been gelded and could go a lot better.

Race Summary: HODGEPODGE has more of a task on handicap debut but won her maiden better than the margin suggested. She could be back in the winners' enclosure. THE GHOST has shown talent having placed in a feature as a juvenile. She wasn't far off in a strong handicap in her penultimate and gives the impression she could enjoy the distance now. SPRING KISS turned the form around with IDEAL GIFT last time and looks to be heading in the right direction again. She has drawn well. IDEAL GIFT had excuses but has drawn wide and will have her work cut out. More can earn.

Race 3
Race Summary: KING CELTILLUS got going late and ran a decent race last time in just his second start. He should build on that run and rates the one to watch. However, ONE ARMED BANDIT has decent form and stayed on, indicating that he is looking for this extra distance. He has drawn well and could be hard to peg back. RICHARDTHEFEARLESS was gutsy in defeat on the poly and looks to be getting better with each run after gelding. He should have every chance as well. SILVER PLATTER and LIGHTNINGFORK have been well beaten but are well bred and could suddenly come to the fore.

Race 4
Race Summary: SHOTGUN WILLIE wasn't far off over 1600m and the last time he raced over a similar trip he was beaten in a close finish into second. He has drawn well and if getting the race run to suit could score again. VIEW OF THE WORLD has been running on well and it could be the right race for him. But he does give weight to all. NIGHTJAR must be showing good work back home because he has been backed in some of his recent starts. He won't need too much to beat this field. CAPTAIN MARSALA and RED MOUNTAIN rate dark horses over this experimental distance.

Race Summary: PRANKSTER has been a bit costly and yet again she looks a leading contender with a light weight. She may just stick her neck out for the win if enjoying the track and trip which she tries first time. Watch out for JET LAVISH who was an easy winner of her maiden. She shows good pace over further and could be dangerous over the sprint even if racing after a rest. LITTLEBLACKGEM showed good resolve to win her maiden with the runner-up coming out to win not long after. She could be suited as well. SWEET JULIA and HEREINAFTER have yet to win at this track but must have earning potential.

Race Summary: QUANDARY has not had things go his way of late. He has had tough draws to navigate but this time he hasn't drawn badly and more importantly he could benefit from a 4kg apprentice claim. MEXICAN PETE was eye catching over this distance last time but has been rested again and is carrying top weight. MR MASTER STARTER is knocking at the door and it could finally be his day as he has much in his favour. COMMON GROUNDS came in for solid betting support but didn't give of his best. He is capable and can be included along with GOOD TRAVELLER, TREAD SWIFTLY and SHANTA'S PRIDE.

Race 7
Race Summary: BOWIE ran out of steam after racing handily last time. He was racing after a rest and should come on with the run under his belt. A drop in class should suit him along with IMPOSING who finished ahead of him in the above-mentioned race. The latter also needed it and having drawn well could add to his decent tally over the distance. LORD WYLIE is as useful as they come and gave signs he could be coming back to best when beaten less than two lengths in his last start. He has drawn well and must be included. GIAMBATTISTA and IBUTHO won't be far off at best.

Race Summary: COMEDY CLUB lacked a strong finish in his first run out the maidens. He was racing in a feature over 1600m and could much improve back the 1400m. JP'S PALACE impressed in winning his maiden even though having much go wrong. He could also be on the up still. Watch out for CHINABERRY who has run with the best around. He has been rested but could have improved and runs like the trip will suit. CELTIC CHIEF won his last start in good style and he could be the dark horse even if switching to turf. SAVANTRIX is capable of better than he has shown in recent times.
