Race 1
Race Summary: It should get close between JEANNE DARC and JUMPTHEGREENLIGHT. The former finished 0.60-lengths ahead of the latter, who was making her debut. With that experience gained, JUMPTHEGREENLIGHT could be a bigger threat this time. PRINCESS GOLDIE didn't enjoy the poly when disappointing in her last start. She is back on turf and if running to her best could produce the required finish. BAO LA did a bit much over further last time. The drop in trip should suit and she has drawn well so should be right there. More can earn.

Race Summary: Highveld raider SANTIAGO'S PRIDE ran well in his penultimate and judged on that looks a capable contender. He did, however, disappoint last time when over-racing. STAR OF THE FUTURE has also been staying on. He should be a big threat despite jumping from a wide gate. He has a prior engagement which needs to be checked. The minor places are open. There wasn't much between I AM CLASSY and IRISH ANTHEM but along with FORTUNE HUNTER they need to make big improvement to trouble the fancies. STAR MAN has had only two starts and is bred to relish the extra.

Race 3
Race Summary: LADY MY LADY stepped up on her Western Cape performances with a fair third place on local debut. She should keep improving and looks well-placed to open her account. GALE FORCE NINE found one better in a well-backed individual last time but it was a most encouraging effort. BEL GIOCATORE, who was 2.50-lengths behind her, is now 5kg better off and has draw one. She could make things very interesting. SHEEZAROCKET hasn't bad form and could prefer the longer distance. FLYING REIGN STORM could make the exotics pay on best form.

Race 4
Race Summary: WORLD OF OUR OWN battled to get a clear run last time and was unlucky. He is going about it the right way and if overcoming a slightly wide draw could get the job done. But it is competitive. UZWANO confirmed his second start improvement with another runner-up prize behind a well-backed form winner. He should have every chance. GREEN MILE has also done little wrong. In fact, he has finished ahead of WORLD OF OUR OWN and should be right there after needing his last race. THE WOLF lacked extra last time but is bred to enjoy the distance.

Race Summary: CATS PAJAMAS's run in the New Turf Carriers Merchants is best forgotten as nothing seemed to go his way. He is back home and could get back to best having drawn well. CHOCOLATE SOLDIER is holding form. He should give the former a hard time at the weights especially as he jumps from gate one. The filly NO FILTER has proven to be hard to catch. She is looking to make it four in a row but has a bit more to do. DONQUERARI is never one to ignore. He was just beaten by NO FILTER and could get his turn at the weights. Most are useful and can earn.

Race 6
Race Summary: KIMBALL O'HARA looks well-placed, beaten in a close finish over 1600m, but is probably best over this distance category. Watch out for Highveld raider WHISPERS OF WAR. He went a distance too far last time and with blinkers fitted over a suitable trip should go well. He has the best draw. If RHYTHM can travel the way he did over 1000m he can win again. He has the pedigree. RALPH THE RASCAL and TEATIME TIPPLE need things to go their way. If the pace is on, the pair could be in the fight for honours.

Race Summary: QUEUE WING surprisingly gave a horse like Gladatorian cheek last time. If he can repeat dropping in distance, he could finally get back to winning ways. TREAD SWIFTLY is another that needs his confidence boosted. Along with AFRICAN SKYLINE he has shown he can win over the distance and with his rating dropped, could feature prominently. MR MASTER STARTER has done everything but get his head in front. He is holding form and could take his turn in this company. SHAMPOMPO SHAMPIZI is way better than his recent form, so watch out.

Race Summary: COLORADO CREEK hasn't been far off recently. She should enjoy the step up in distance and should have every chance from gate one. ASPOESTERTJIE is holding form and would be deserving, but it seems she prefers a wetter track. THE QUEEN BEE was eye-catching the last time she raced over the course and distance. She is holding form and must be included in exotics. PURPLE FLOWER won as she liked on the poly and if bringing the form to the turf she could do it again. HOT LAVA may be drawn wide but she has done little wrong and could time it right.
