Sam Hawkens will likely have his next run in Australia after completing a hat-trick in the Coral Summer Handicap at Glorious Goodwood.
The progressive four-year-old arrived chasing a third-straight success for the in-form William Haggas team following victories at Newcastle and Epsom and in the hands of Tom Marquand, he was a well-backed 4/1 market leader to complete the treble.
Always well-positioned just off the pace by Marquand, Sam Hawkens picked up well to take up proceedings inside the final furlong before showing a willing attitude to get the better of the challenging Dancing In Paris by half a length.
Joseph O'Brien's Irish raider Aeronautic finished back in third.
"I was pleased with him; he's really improved this year," said William Haggas. "Sam, our son, bought him last summer and we didn't really like him much when he came. He bought him online, said we have to have him, and we didn't really sell him because of that.
"Since we gelded him in the winter he's taken a bit of time, he's got a lovely girl, Michaela Weld, who rides him every day and absolutely adores him, and the horse has really thrived.
"I think it's a combination of things, he's obviously in good form and on good terms with himself. He went to Newcastle and won, he went to Hamilton and won, and he's come to a big race today and won, so it's great."
The gelded son of Galileo now looks set for a trip to Australia, with Haggas revealing he has already booked a spot in quarantine for the now four-time winner.
When asked if he has something in mind for the winner, he replied: "I have something in mind, yes, I think it's Rosehill. I think he'll go to Australia.
"We've booked a place in quarantine on the 5th of September, and the race is on the 18th of October, so I think we'll go now.
"He'll probably race for us, but he might not be owned by me!"
