Sam King is back with two selections following a winner at Chelmsford yesterday evening…

Haydock looks to be the pick of the afternoon action, with the highly-exciting Accredit looking to enhance his credentials in the mile novice event for Juddmonte.
He's clearly no wager at around the 1/5 mark but there is a bet to be had on the card, with the progressive filly Coedana an interesting proposition in the opening CopyBet Handicap (1.55).
The Ed Bethall-trained King Of Change filly has progressed nicely since switching to handicap company, winning snugly at Southwell on her handicap debut off a mark of 74 before readily defying a 6lb higher rating with a five and a half length romp at Newcastle three weeks ago.
There's no doubt she faces a stiffer task now back on the turf and with an 8lb hike in the weights, but it's tough to gauge how much more she might have to offer and the step up to one-mile six furlongs ought to bring out more improvement.
There should be plenty of pace on with both Dino Bellagio and High Point likely to go forward from their wide draws, so Callum Rodriguez ought to be able to find a nice spot just off the pace as she steps up in trip.
She seemed to handle this sort of ground when chasing home the subsequent Ribblesdale (Group 2) runner-up Understudy in a novice event at Redcar last season and with further progress expected again, Ed Bethell's charge gets the nod to complete the hat-trick.
Coedana – 1pt Win
Odds – 5/2
The Richard Spencer and George Wood combination have enjoyed a fruitful season, and they once again proved they remained in decent form when striking at Chelmsford last time.
They team up with a duo of contenders at Newcastle this evening, with Romeo Montague looking to be their best chance in the Happy Birthday Stuart From Probio-Energy Nursery (6.00).
An eye-catching seventh in a warm York novice event which featured subsequent Grouo 1 Middle Park scorer Wise Approach earlier in the season, Romeo Montague again shaped encouragingly when switched to the turf on the July Course despite doing plenty wrong.
He raced keenly in the hands of Ryan Moore on the front end that day but still held sway heading into the final furlong before giving way to both Beckford's Folly, who has since gone on to land the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket, and the now 93-rated Rydale Frosty.
It wasn't surprising to see connections opt to geld the son of Sergei Prokofiev following that Newmarket effort and it looked as though it did the trick as he quickened up well before battling on strongly to get off the mark at Lingfield next time. That form took a boost when the runner-up bolted up at Newcastle next time out and is now rated 82, while the third and fourth placed horses both ran well at Wolverhampton next start.
An opening mark of 78 looks to be on the lenient side given the recent boost of his Lingfield success and with further improvement likely, he can make a winning handicap debut.
Romeo Montague – 1pt Win
Odds – 5/2
