In his second season training in Hong Kong Pierre Ng captured the two G3 feature races on Sunday at Sha Tin.

Those of us who attended his press briefing in Hong Kong in April heard him say that he thought Mugen would be a very good horse next season.  Well word may have got back to Mugen who decided to show his trainer and the world that he was already a very good horse.  He proved this by just getting his nose in front of California Spangles in a very thrilling finish to the G3 Premier Cup.

Galaxy Patch has always been talented and showed that to full effect in the Premier Plate when he was able to hold out to Beauty Joy and Happy Together.  He will be aimed at some big targets next season.
