Now that the fields for the Breeders' Cup races are sorted there is still racing.
On Saturday at Belmont at the Big A the Sands Point is Gr 2 for 3yo fillies over 1800m turf. There are seven starters and three emergencies which is odd as it does not allow for an 8 horse field and therefore a third place pay out or as they say in America "show".
You might be able to get 9/5 for Spaliday with Franco riding for Brown and/or 2/1 for Style Points with Rosario riding for Clement.
At Keeneland on Saturday there is the Gr 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup for 3yo fillies over 1800m on the turf. She Feels Pretty comes in on 5/2 for de Vaux-Velazquez after some recent good form. There's a couple of raiders here – from England George Boughey is sending Billy Loughnane over to ride Soprano on 7/2. If she handles the travel she could be a serious contender. And Francis Graffard is sendeing Candela from France with US-based French jockey Florent Geroux to ride.
