We are starting to head towards the big autumn racing so these races takes on some degree of importance.

Nakayama hosts the Shion Stakes G2 over 2000m for 3yo fillies. At present Lynx Tip is on 3.5 with Kitamura riding and on the same quote Jocelyn, the mount of Lemaire.  Danon Fair Lady is on 9.6 and will be ridden by Tosaki. 

Down at Hanshin it's the Sankei Sho Centaur Stakes G2 over 1200m and two familiar names head the call – Tosen Macau on 2.8 with T Yokoyama the jockey and Mama Cocha on 3.9 with M Iwata in the irons.  There's quite a gap back to T M Spada on 9.6 with Matsuwaka riding so it looks very much as if it is between the top two.
