RACE 1 - 12:22PM Quayclean Handicap (1550 METRES)

Goldrush Guru has come back in good order beating Duchess Of Sussex first-up from a spell before again proving too good for Thunder Award last time. He draws out but has huge upside and should take beating again. BIG BRUTE looked good winning at Balaklava on debut. He was plain in two runs on heavy tracks before a good run in Melbourne beaten 2.5 lengths behind Detroit City at Flemington in early August. QUEENOFTHEAIR was a good winner on the Parks two starts back and then disappointed last time at Balaklava when 4th behind WILD WINNER who is a filly with upside. MONDELLO was 2nd in the Balaklava race and draws a good barrier.

RACE 2 - 12:57PM Thomas Farms Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)

OOCHIE MAGUCCHEE debuts for the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable and won a recent Murray Bridge trial beating OVERSTATED, who debuts for Jon O'Connor and had four trials before running 2nd in his latest. Commissions was $3 into $2.50 when 2nd behind Kirkliston Blue at Morphettville on debut and was beaten 19.3 lengths behind Goldrush Guru here last time. BOLTONOVA has shown improvement running 2nd at his past two at Murray Bridge the latest behind Noitulover. He draws a gate and can give this a shake. RADIANT KNIGHT was good first-up for his new stable and draws the inside. BRIGHT SHOW debuts for Chris Bieg and wears blinkers for the first time.

RACE 3 - 1:32PM Claymore Wines Handicap (2250 METRES)

Call Me Vexatious was dominant up on speed when a 5.5 length winner over Smiling Assassin here last time. He draws a good barrier and should take some beating. BOLSHOI PRINCESS has been placed at his past three, the latest at Cranbourne behind The Genius. He draws a nice barrier and should be in the mix here. LOTTAROC was placed here two runs back behind Privileged Son before he was beaten 4 lengths behind Cable Dancer at Sandown. He draws the nice barrier. WHISPERING PHARAOH was a Ballarat maiden winner on the synthetic before running 2nd behind King's Reign at Wangaratta. He draws out, has been specked at odds and should be in the mix. Likewise STAND UP FOR ME went up a $23 chance and was specked early with Jake Toeroek to ride from a good gate.

Lavish Thinker has only won the one race but was OK when beaten 0.6 lengths behind Torranzino at Sandown last time. He gets an inside gate and should go close. MOTORACE was just behind the placegetters at Sandown before he was sent out a $4 favourite here and narrowly beaten by Smiling Assassin. ON THE SCENT was a good winner on the outer track before he got a long way back and stormed home beaten 2.2 lengths behind Bit Of A Rebel in the Mindarie Halidon Cup last weekend. EIGHT ON THE DOT has been good since winning at Strathalbyn three starts back running 4th behind Flamin' Romans here before he was 3rd beaten 2.7 lengths behind Silent Don on the outer track last week.

La Casona was a Sandown winner three starts back and was OK last time beaten 2.25 lengths behind Boardrider there. He draws a nice gate and gets in well after the claim. THE GOLDEN FIST was runner-up at his first two starts before he got the job done beating Fine Future, who has won since, here. He draws out and should be somewhere in the mix again. DESERT DANCING is a mare with ability and was $6 into $4.80 last time when beaten 4.4 lengths behind Deepfloat Diva here. FALANGHINA was a good winner first-up in SA at Murray Bridge when she landed some good bets before she was beaten 6.5 lengths behind On The Scent on the outer track. NURYS won two races at nice odds before another handy effort when 3rd behind Goldrush Guru here last time.

RACE 6 - 3:17PM Sportsbet Nobody Does It Better Handicap (1250 METRES)

Aviatress is a good mare who just missed here behind Lingani two runs back and then went to Melbourne and was very good beaten 1.17 lengths in 4th behind Quintessa in the Group 3 Cockram Stakes. She draws a good gate and if she opts to run here will take a power of beating. THIRSTY GUEST has won five (placed six) of his 17 starts and he was 2nd in the C S Hayes behind Meridius on the outer track in March before running 5th behind Air Assault. He's trialled up well for his return, he's a winner fresh and looks well placed fresh. THREE RINGS won consecutive races at Murray Bridge in May/June before a good return beaten 2.6 lengths behind Sir Sway on the outer track. BALLON D'OR has been around the mark and draws a nice barrier. Stablemate SIXTEEN REASONS was beaten 1.5 lengths behind Struck Gold last time here and has been bursting to win a race. CHARTWELL HOUSE was a Ballarat winner three starts back and beaten 4.31 lengths behind Torranzino at Sandown last time. WILD WILLY is now with Matt Seyers and was OK running 3rd in the Master Eight trial at Murray Bridge where Thirsty Guest was 2nd. Stablemate LUMBER PUNK has been solid in two SA runs and made good ground behind Zebella on the outer track last week. ALL BEANS was good here last time when 2nd behind Struck Gold. He draws a sticky barrier.

Lethal Thoughts has a good record taking on some top-level races early in his career. He has been solid this time around winning at Sandown two starts back before he was beaten 3.86 lengths behind Craig at Caulfield which is good form for this. FAVOURITE CHILD has been in great form and was a $1.80 favourite at Murray Bridge when too good for Bonnie Gangster three starts back, was narrowly beaten by Brave Star before running 5th behind Second To Nun, beaten just 2.1 lengths in the Listed Leon Macdonald Stakes. She was set to run favourite in the Balaklava Cup when scratched at the gates and should take some beating here. BRAVE STAR is going super and was runner-up behind Sachem, ran 5th behind Maracourt before just missing behind A Samurai Mind on the outer track last start. THE GUAVA has been in good form winning two of his past four and was OK beaten 3.6 lengths behind Struck Gold here last time. KOMACHI was a good winner on the outer track two runs back before he made ground and was only beaten 3.5 lengths behind A Samurai Mind there last time. KODIAK was a Pakenham winner two runs back before he led when beaten 1.35 lengths in 3rd behind Prinzerro. HUGHES comes off a narrow Sandown win beating Written In Code and should be in the mix from a good barrier. LULU DARLING has won two of her past four at Pakenham.

Jilladora was impressive here last time over the 1400m when she sat back and powered over the top of rivals to win smartly. The rise in trip should suit, this is harder but she has a lot of upside. LONGER ROUTE led when 2nd behind High On Sugar at Murray Bridge before he was again on speed and too smart scoring a 1.8 length win over Burning Bright on the outer track last time He'll give a sight from a good gate here around the Parks. GERALDINE'S JEWEL was a Sale winner three starts back and beaten 3.5 lengths in 3rd at Benalla last time behind Lord Domino. VEE ROD has won his past two at Gawler and then here beating Bit Of A Rebel who has won the Mindarie Halidon Cup since. BLIXTEN has been racing well placed three times in succession before beating Obi at Murray Bridge and was well beaten there during the week. DRAGONFACE has been placed his past couple.

Kinetic Jewel has a handy record with two wins from her seven starts. She was too good for Walk Like An Angel here last November and was sent to the paddock after being beaten 9 lengths behind Surprise Coming in a strong 3yo race at Murray Bridge in June. She draws out but can give this a big shake fresh. AZTEC DANCER was a good Murray Bridge winner two starts back at odds and followed up with another good effort beaten a length behind Deepfloat Diva here. He has a wide gate but should be in the mix. DYER hasn't raced since he failed on a soft track behind Colmar at Murray Bridge back in June and the blinkers go on here from a good barrier. OAKLAND RAIDER was runner-up behind stablemate Great Maximus at Oakbank before he jumped in grade and was beaten 7.9 lengths behind Sir Sway in the Listed Redelva Stakes at Morphettville in April. LEFT TURN CLYDE was runner-up behind Mazovia three starts back and then solid again here last time when 4th behind Deepfloat Diva. He draws out but should be in the mix. GILMORE is a former Victorian who was OK first-up here in Mat when beaten 2.9 lengths behind Storyteller here.
