Stablemate SKADOOSH was a $2.15 fav on debut when beaten 1.56 lengths behind Miss Tormenta at Balaklava on Jul 30. OUI OUI MA CHERIE showed ability in her first campaign and was sent out at a $3.20 chance first-up when she got well back and was beaten 1.17 lengths in 4th behind Kalmana on the Parks. MISS SGHIRRIPA is a half-sister to Sghirripa by Merchant Navy, who won a recent Strathalbyn trial by 3.01 lengths. She draws out, but should be in the mix. VEGA BLUES was solid here on debut, beaten 4.51 lengths behind Captain Happy when he was $11-$18. He draws a nice gate, and it should go well.
HELLOW MISTRESS jumped out well in Victoria before being placed at Seymour on debut when a $9 chance. JUXTAPOSE had the four trials leading up to her debut for Will Clarken and was 4th behind Fiabesca, who has run well since, last time. GOLDEN GURU is a half-brother to Goldrush Guru, who was second in a recent Parks jump-out. He draws the middle. Stablemate FREEDOM FLAME was beaten 8.53 lengths behind Steel Trap in the G3 David Coles on debut and won a recent Parks jump-out. ORLOVA debuts for Dan Clarken and Oopy MacGillivray and was beaten 7.27 lengths in a Strathalbyn trial. GOLDEN TUNES debuts for Justin Pickering and has finished second in a trial and jump-out leading in. STYLISH FLIPPER debuts for Paul Carey and won a recent Strathalbyn trial. SNOW MERCY is on debut for the Stokes stable and was beaten 2 lengths in 4th in a Murray Bridge trial.

RACE 2 - 12:52PM Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap (2500 METRES)

The wetter the better for Goliotus, who was six wins from 14 starts on heavy going and was an 11-length winner at Murtoa before bringing that form to the city and showing plenty of fight in BM 76 grade to hold off LAVISH THINKER here last time. PARADISE STORM was 4th in that race, and he has a handy record and draws a good barrier. DIXIE WHISTLER has been on speed in her past couple and beaten 2.26 lengths in the same race. HIGH SOCIETY GIRL has been racing well and is another who loves wet tracks, she was beaten 2.26 in the same race. LAKE'S FOLLY has been around the mark and was beaten 4.22 lengths behind Rabtat on the Parks last week. INFINITY IMPERIAL has been just behind the placegetters at his past couple at Sandown and draws a nice gate with the blinkers off.
BABY RIDER has beaten one runner home at his past couple in Melbourne but in what look harder races than this. He looks an improver here.

RACE 3 - 1:27PM Maughan Thiem Ford Ranger Handicap (1800 METRES)

Platinum Destroyer was $5-$4.40 when beaten 4.48 lengths behind Test The Law before going back over the border and being beaten 1.75 lengths in 2nd behind She Said at Seymour. He was placed at his only heavy track outing. BURNING BRIGHT gave a bold sight up speed last week when she was only grabbed late by RABTAT who broke through for a deserving win coming off the speed to win. WHATSANAMEGEORGE is fitter for one run back, he rises in trip which suits. DIVINE FIRE is fitter for two runs back from a spell, she is more than capable but would appreciate a good surface.

Fast Bubbles is flying and chase five wins in succession here. He was slow out and came from the back to round them up easy in a BM76 at Murray Bridge last time and should take beating if he handles the conditions. FINE FUTURE was beaten 2.96 lengths first-up from a spell in that race. He was a winner here on May 3 before a super effort up in class when beaten 1.07 lengths in 3rd behind Regal Azmon in the G3 Cummings. MERCHANT BOSS has been a super money spinner for connections and was too good for Sav On Ice here last time and has been back to the jump-outs since. CONCORDE ran two very good races at his first two runs back from a spell before he was beaten 12.65 lengths in the Merchant Boss race last time. BRAVE STAR is four wins from nine heavy track starts led when 3rd in the in the same race while stablemate WATADEEL draws out with a big weight but was a winner on the Parks last time beating Flashing Steel and is a winner at his only heavy track run. UNDER THE CONE was beaten 4.21 lengths in the same race and gets in well at the weights.

RACE 5 - 2:37PM Superior Logistics Australia Handicap (1600 METRES)

Darknconfidential ran through some handy 3yo races earlier in the year and his latest was very good making ground when beaten 4.16 behind Hot Strut who has won again since, he draws a good gate and gets blinkers for the first time. ANTHRICITE make good ground on debut before breaking his maiden with an emphatic 6.26 length win over Titan Rising at Murray Bridge last time. He also stays at 1600m from a middle gate and was $2.30 into $1.80 early. GIN RUMMY profiles similar and has been placed at his past couple, the latest beaten 3.99 lengths in 2nd behind Tropical House here. He won a Strathalbyn trial and stays at 1600m but is close to winning. GEETEEE FORTY jogged in by 3.22 lengths back in class last time and loves the heavy going. LOCA BELLA has been runner-up at her past three the latest behind Savatoff at Strathalbyn. AMBER NOOK was OK late in the Hot Strut race on the Parks on Apr 16.

Cicala was impressive winning her first three including the Listed Lightning Stakes at Morphettville two runs back when she got through a Heavy 10 to run down Fieldelo and then followed up beaten 3.45 lengths behind Queman in the G3 Behemoth Stakes. She drops in class and weight and should take beating. KARAVAS was impressive first-up from a spell when she sat off a good tempo and raced over the top of rivals to score a 2 length win over Beast Mode on the Parks. LAYERUPONLAYER comes off a good effort beaten 0.85 lengths behind Red Hot Nicc at Moonee Valley and was a good winner on the Parks prior beating METRICAL who followed up running 2nd behind Delightful Shecky last time on a Heavy 10. COTEHELE is first-up for Michale Hickmott and brings some solid NSW form here, he has won a heavy track and must be respected. MERE MORSEL has a good fresh and heavy track record and has jumped out twice ahead of his first-up run. NASHO can improve second-up.

RACE 7 - 3:52PM House Inspect Australia Handicap (1600 METRES)

Tropical House when she was sent out a $2.20 fav and scored a 3.99 length win over Gin Rummy here on Aug 9. She gets a very handy 3kg claim here and should take beating again. TALISAY is a handy mare who was equally as impressive on the same day first-up from a break when she settled midfield, tracked into the race and won nicely beating Thermodynamic by 2.16 lengths on Aug 9.
CELEITUS was sent out a $3.80 fav here two runs back when beaten 2.79 lengths in 4th behind Magnetic Edge before going home to Warrnambool and being narrowly beaten by Astrodel after leading. He draws to be a factor. THE MANSMAN was again solid when he made ground beaten 0.53 lengths behind Placo on the Parks last week. WINE BARRON was sent out a $3.60 fav when beaten 0.71 lengths in 4th in the same race last week. MAKALU ran well beaten narrowly on the Parks behind Willybeafactor before he was beaten 2.85 lengths in 6th behind Shoeless at Moonee Valley on Aug 9. BIG SUE tried hard when beaten 2.15 lengths behind Podargoni on the Parks last week, he is a two-time winner here.

EXTRA HOT was freshened before being beaten 4.5 lengths behind Clarence last time here. She draws out but that may suit come late in the day and is a winner on a heavy track. NURYS got well back when beaten 6.17 lengths behind Anotherhouse on the Parks last week. Her previous was solid for a race like this. HYPERNOVA was given a good run and won accordingly back in Class 1 company when a 2.49 length winner over Silver Chaos at Murray Bridge last time. ZUNNA was a Pakenham maiden winner on debut and then ran $1.75 when 3rd behind Jakivy there back on Apr 24. She has the two jump outs there under her belt and draws a nice barrier. Stablemate NICISH was sent out a $3.50 fav when beaten 0.74 lengths behind Welcometotheshow on the Parks last time.
THE GUAVA was placed here two runs back behind Clarence and then solid in the market and looked to have his chance behind Podargoni on the Parks last week. SPEEDTAIL is a former Victorian first-up for Cody Reardon and has jumped out OK. MATROOSHI had solid form at the end of last preparation and was beaten 1.57 lengths in 5th behind Miss Cotoletta at Bendigo last time. SHADOW EAGLE has ability and was a Gawler winner in Jun and jumped out well recently. SACHEM has trialled well for his return and has shown ability.

Interest Point is a Victorian now trained by Matt Laurie and is first-up here after he was beaten 4.23 lengths behind Out Of Square here before a spell back in March. He ran 5th in a G3 Zedative last preparation, draws the middle, won a recent Mornington jump-out and should take beating.
STREETCAR FURY resumes here and created an impression on debut with a 3.72 length at Murray Bridge on Jan 1 and resumed on Mar 22 when beaten 3.92 lengths behind Immortal Bliss on the Parks. He has trialled well and has upside. HALLIWELL is chasing for straight wins here and was perfectly ridden to run down Mighty Aphrodite on the Parks last time. She has a great heavy track record, draws well and does look hard to beat. SOLAR MIST came from a mile back on a heavy track to win here last start, beating Purfect Line. NOSTRYIA has been racing in great form and followed consecutive 2nds with a good win here, coming from the back to beat Bristler on Aug 9. He draws out, should get suitable conditions and looks well placed again. BAY OF ZEA was beaten a length behind Bold Response at Moonee Valley back in February and then well beaten at Cranbourne. He does race well fresh and should be in the mix. THUNDER SHOC is a horse with ability and was beaten on the Parks two runs back and then led throughout for a 1.66 length win over LOTTIE JANE, who has been racing well and broke through for a 1.42 length maiden win on the Parks last time and must be respected. SHARENDIPITY was runner-up behind Riche D'Amour at Murray Bridge and then beaten 2.52 lengths behind Morris Minor there last time. He draws off the track, but that might be OK late in the day. ZOUPOURING was a Pakenham winner back in February and has trialled and jumped out well for his return from a wide gate.
