The rail will be left in the true position around the entire track while at publish, we're faced with a surface rated in the Good (4) range.

I've run the rule over the meeting, and you can find my complete Five Diamonds Day tips and Rosehill best bets below.

Race 1 - Highway Handicap (1200m) – 12:25pm AEDT

No. 5 Social Circle

Social Circle looks well placed in this week's Highway Handicap.

Social Circle returned to action this time for a dominant victory in BM58 company at Scone before a near miss in a Highway race at Randwick.

She's been back to the trials since finishing on the placegetters' heels at Warwick Farm last month and certainly looks up to the class of something like this.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 1

Race 2 - Midway Handicap (1300m) – 1pm AEDT

No. 6 Oakfield Jupiter

Oakfield Jupiter has been excellent since debuting and is up to winning this week's Midway race.

She won two of three during her debut prep, with her only miss coming in Listed company, while she returned to action to win a race not dissimilar to this one at Randwick a fortnight ago.

She strips fitter for that run and with even luck, I can't find a reason why she won't be in the finish again.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 2

Race 3 - Chandon Handicap (2400m) – 1:35pm AEDT

No. 5 Format

There's a case to be made for a few of them in this contest, including Format at nice odds ($11 at publish).

Having won in BM64 company at Hawkesbury second up from a spell, the Frankel gelding was too bad to be true here last time out, and I am happy to put a line through the run.

He steps out this week in peak order, sticking at the mile and a half suits, and we can have an each way play at the price.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 3

Race 4 - Ranvet Handicap (1200m) – 2:10pm AEDT

No. 5 Shady Thinker

South Australian Shady Thinker steps out in a winnable race at Rosehill on Saturday.

Shady Thinker stamped himself as horse to follow by winning two of three starts during his debut preparation, while he returned to action with a bullish performance and victory at Morphettville last month.

He strips fitter for that run and while this is a harder race, he certainly looks up to it.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 4

Race 5 - Petaluma Handicap (1800m) – 2:50pm AEDT

No. 2 Hurstville Zagreb

Hurstville Zagreb takes winning form into this contest and is fitting of his position on the top line of betting, in my opinion.

He rarely runs a bad race this horse, and after returning to action to fill the minors over a mile at Warwick Farm early last month, he was nothing short of dominant at the same track and in BM72 company last time out.

This is another rise in class but he's open to further improvement, while getting out to the 1800m now looks ideal at this point of his preparation.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 5

Race 6 - Group 3 Golden Gift (1100m) – 3:30pm AEDT

No. 1 Revengeance

There isn't a whole lot of form to study ahead of the Golden Gift and with a case to be made for many of them, I've got Revengeance on top.

He's only made one appearance at the races so far, but after trialling nicely, Revengeance filled the minors on debut in the Group 3 Breeders' Plate, beaten just over half a length.

He's been kept up to the mark with a trial since that race and on exposed form, can certainly win this race.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 6

Race 7 - Group 2 Hot Danish Stakes (1400m) – 4:10pm AEDT

No. 3 Miraval Rose

The Hot Danish Stakes looks a perfect target for Melbournian, Miraval Rose.

Having recorded consecutive wins second and third up this time, including the Group 2 Blazer Stakes at Flemington on Turnbull Day, the Grunt mare produced a tough performance in a luckless race to finish fourth in the Tristarc Stakes last time out.

She's hard fit and boasts a fitness and ability edge over a lot of these rivals.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 7

Race 8 - Listed Five Diamonds (1800m) – 4:50pm AEDT

No. 1 Transatlantic

Transatlantic has gone to a new level this time in and looms as the one to beat in the Five Diamonds.

He turned in some fine performances during the Brisbane Winter Carnival, but after a couple of near misses first and second up this season, he produced a gutsy performance to win the Group 1 Toorak Handicap at Caulfield.

Having landed in Sydney for another comfortable victory a fortnight ago, he's hard fit and boasts a class edge over a lot of Saturday's rivals.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 8

Race 9 - Benchmark 78 Handicap (1100m) – 5:25pm AEDT

No. 11 Taxation

Taxation puts an unbeaten record on the line on Five Diamonds Day.

Taxation debuted with an eye-catching performance to win in maiden company at Hawkesbury last month, while she franked that effort by getting up in BM72 company over this route last time out.

It's another rise in class, but the horse has plenty of upside and gets into the race well under the conditions.

 Bet Now: Rosehill Race 9

Race 10 - Rosehill Bowling Club Handicap (1400m) – 6:05pm AEDT

No. 5 Mawjood

Mawjood rates as a key winning chance in the last at Rosehill on Saturday.

The Tassort gelding won over this route back in October and after finishing on the placegetters' heels in the Coonamble Cup, he wasn't beaten too far by an impressive Vivy Air at Randwick on The Everest Day.
