Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 13.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Wyong, Nowra, Echuca, Townsville and Northam.
WYONG: RACE 8 @ 4:25 PM
UNSTOPABULL (13) raced without luck all prep and expecting more here from the good draw and extra 100m. Ran on late from the sticky gate when sixth over 1100m at Warwick Farm on May 22. Senior rider back on and looks one of the leading players. OAKFIELD BADGER (3) trained on the rack and at his top now after finishing third at Taree over 1250m on May 27. Firmer deck helps and expected to be in this for a long way. AMBASSADORS (8) resumes with two trials and will appreciate the 3kg claim. Finished behind some promising types last time in and look for him late. UNWRITTEN (14) recent efforts have been encouraging and raced well over this track and trip in the past. Gets weight relief from the low draw and will appreciate the firmer track.
SELECTIONS: Unstopabull to win.

NOWRA: RACE 6 @ 3:35 PM
SCISSOR ME TIMBERS (1) worked home okay to finish fourth at his latest appearance over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Has been competitive all prep in town and at the provincials so this is a step down in grade. Clearly the one to beat with Stallone coming out. SKIP A BEAT (2) raced near the speed in the same maiden as Scissor Me Timbers at Hawkesbury recently but tired late, ending up 1.4 lengths behind today's rival. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and should give backers a sight. MARGARET'S MISSILE (5) returns from a four-month spell. Needs more ground but while fresh can sneak into the frame. AMPLE TIME (8) disappointed as favourite in a Parkes Showcase maiden over this distance last start. Worth another chance. Cannot make a case for the other two runners.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Scissor Me Timbers.
ECHUCA: RACE 3 @ 1:00 PM
SACRED INGOT (7) looks to have found the right race after four placings from four starts, three times finishing runner-up. Rise in trip shouldn't pose a problem. Looks hard to beat. LINAS REEL (4) is progressing nicely this campaign and showed a win is near with his performance at Cranbourne last time. Won't be far away. RICH CHAMPAGNE (6) has produced only poor run of late which was two back at Warrnambool. Has had a recent change of stable and is worth including in the hopes. HOOKLINEANDTINDER (11) was placed here last month and while latest efforts have been below her best, back to this track she can improve.
SELECTIONS: Back Sacred Ingot to win.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 7 @ 3:57 PM
A good contest. DECRYPTING GOLD (3) seeks the hat-trick off a tidy win at 55 level. Keeps improving and with the rails advantage can go on with it. VANCOUVER BAY (2) peaks and has been threatening since the Cairns win. Maps for a soft run and gets another chance with Butler reunited FINSCEAL (1) is better than the three runs this preparation suggest. Wiggins goes on for Butler and tipping he can show more like his best. CHOQUANT (4) made good improvement second-up and can build on that. He should be right in it as well.
SELECTIONS: Backing Decrypting Gold.
NORTHAM: RACE 3 @ 4:17 PM
DESERT EDGE (3) found Hit The Lights much too good here 11 days ago over 2000m but covered the others. Keeps Chris Parnham and he finds a winnable assignment. SKITTISH (1) found more like his best beaten 2.5L over a mile. Ran his best race in an Open 3 over this distance and he can secure the run of the race. Tougher sorting the rest on what we've seen. COLD JUSTICE (4) is third up and finished it off okay at Pinjarra 7 days ago over a mile. Fitter again and the longer journey is likely to suit. CLAIREANN (8) peaks and may be the best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Backing Desert Edge.
