Game 3 2022
Game three in the 2022 State of Origin series will go down as one of the best in recent history.
The series was level at 1-1 after Queensland had won the opener in Sydney, before New South Wales hit back with an impressive win in Perth.
Like in 2024, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, played host to the decider and it did not disappoint.
A brutal encounter saw New South Wales lead 12-6, but Queensland hit back as tries by Kalyn Ponga and Ben Hunt sealed a famous 22-12 win.
Game 3 2019
The 2019 series again went to a decider, but this time game 3 would be played at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
Over 82,000 supporters watched on as the two sides could not be separated heading into the dying minutes of the game.
With the score level at 20-20, the game looked destined for extra time until New South Wales broke Queensland hearts with a last-gasp try.
James Tedesco was the hero, scoring his second try of the game in the 80th minute to seal a memorable 26-20 win.
Game 2 2014
New South Wales had not won a State of Origin series in eight years following a period of Queensland dominance.
However that was about to change as the Blues fought back to win the 2014 series 2-1.
The series victory was set up thanks to a 12-8 win in Brisbane in game 1, before they made it 2-0 in Sydney.
Trent Hodkinson was the hero as he scored the only try of the game and kicked to conversion to earn a 6-4 win.
Game 3 2006
Heading into 2006, New South Wales had won three series on the bounce and looked set to make it four.
The Blues were leading 14-4 heading into the final 10 minutes of the deciding game, but the Maroons were not done.
Late tries by Brent Tate and Darren Lockyer snatched a dramatic 16-14 win for Queensland, who would dominate Origin for the next eight years.
Game 3 2012
New South Wales came close to snapping a six-year losing streak in game 3 in 2012, but Queensland broke their hearts once again.
The Blues had fought back to level the match at 20-20, only for Cooper Cronk to boot a match-winning field goal with five minutes left on the clock.
