The State of Origin series goes to a decider when Queensland take on New South Wales at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.

The clash is one of the most eagerly-anticipated Origin games in recent times as New South Wales look to prevent Queensland from winning a third straight series.

The Maroons looked on course for another series victory after thrashing the Blues 38-10 in their own backyard in Game One.

However, Michael Maguire's men hit back to win Game Two 38-18 in Melbourne and now all eyes are on the decider in Queensland.

Home advantage could be crucial and Queensland are priced at 1.87 to win, while New South Wales can be backed at 1.95.

With game day fast approaching let's take a look at Top Tryscorer and Wally Lewis Medal markets.

Top tryscorer market

There have been no shortage of tries in State of Origin so far in the 2024 series.

In Game One there were eight tries as Queensland ran out 38-10 winners, then in Game Two there were 10 tries as New South Wales hit back to win 38-18.

Hopefully there will be tries galore in the decider and as things stand Queensland star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is the hot fancy to be crowned Top Tryscorer for the series.

Tabuai-Fidow currently has four tries for the series, having scored a hat-trick in Game One and then grabbing another in Game Two.

'The Hammer' as he is known, is blessed with pace and power and is sure to be a huge threat to New South Wales on Wednesday night.

He can be backed at 11.00 to score the first try of the game or 2.40 to grab a try at antytime.

As far as the Top Tryscorer market is concerned, Tabuai-Fidow is priced at 1.15 to come out on top.

The biggest threat could come from New South Wales star Zac Lomax, who has scored three tries so far.

The winger-cum-centre, scored one try in Game One and followed that up with a brace in Melbourne.

He can be backed at 4.00 to crowned as Top Tryscorer for the series.

Then there is a big gap to Brian To'o at 17.00, with the NSW winger has two tries to his name so it will take something special to catch Tabuai-Fidow.

Wally Lewis Medal market

The Wally Lewis Medal is awarded to the player of the series and heading into Game 3 Queensland captain Daly Cherry-Evans is the hot fancy to win it.

Cherry-Evans was outstanding in Game One and if Queensland are to get the job done and win the series, he looks set to claim the medal.

The Maroons skipper is priced at 2.60 to win the Wally Lewis Medal.

Meanwhile New South Wales playmaker Mitchell Moses can be backed at 5.00 to win the Wally Lewis Medal.

Moses did not play in Game One due to injury, but made an instant impact on his return in Game Two.

His kicking game was huge as the Blues levelled the series and, if he can produce the same again, it will give his side a great chance of winning the game and series.

It could also mean he becomes the first Blues player since Tpm Trbojevic in 2021 to win the Wally Lewis Medal.
