Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Muswellbrook, Yarra Valley, Kilcoy and Pinjarra.
MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 6 @ 4:55 PM
TORN (4) had the blinkers on for the first time at Mudgee last time out and they worked a treat as he bolted home by 3 lengths nearly 4 weeks ago. He has plenty of scope and will still be on the up with his condition. A good draw will ensure a cosy run and he can take the next step immediately. GIRRAWHEEN (6) stuck to her task gamely when finishing third off a wide trip at Scone just over 2 weeks ago and gets a big swing in her draw this time. She will be peaking third up and is ready to win again at short notice. TIGERS ROAR (1) mixed his form over the winter and is resuming from a spell with a recent quiet trial under his belt. Aaron Bullock is back in the saddle and the pair merit healthy respect. PUERTO BANUS (3) capped off some solid form this season with a tough win by a short-head at Newcastle nearly 3 weeks ago. He steps up from 900m to 1280m so is expected to race right on the pace early on and he can give another good account o himself. Each way.

YARRA VALLEY: RACE 2 @ 2:00 PM
PARCH (5) is close to breaking through, placing in all three runs this time in, close up at Caulfield Heath two back before just finding a handy one better at Mornington. Gets a senior jockey aboard here from a good draw and is sure to take plenty of catching. SWELTERING (12) is a filly by Too Darn Hot on debut for the Busuttin & Young stable. She's been jumping out well enough to be a serious player. ALLSTARS PRINCESS (7) has claims on the debut run and can continue to improve while GIN BABA (8) can run well fresh.

KILCOY: RACE 7 @ 5:50 PM
ROCKRATA (7) took up the running last time and turned in front before boxing on for fifth, beaten 3 lengths over this journey at Ipswich. Gets blinkers back on and is expected to be in this for a long way. EYE WANTED (8) is racing well and is close to a win after a strong of placings, the latest effort a solid third at Sunshine Coast Poly over 1100m. Placed in all three attempts at this track and trip. Major player. BELLE'S BOY (3) is fresh from a spell of ten weeks and did hit the frame when last resuming at this track over 1200m. In a different yard now. Can make his presence felt. MONAZEL (10) goes well at this distance. Proven fresh and readied with a trial so keep safe.

PINJARRA: RACE 6 @ 8:10 PM
AIN'TSOBAD (8) has sat up on the speed in both runs this campaign and been far too good for her rivals, winning by 1.9L most recently. The wide draw won't matter as she's jumped from wide gates recently. Gaerth knows her well and she can continue her winning ways. HE'S ARCHIE (10) drops back in trip today following a 3L defeat at Bunbury most recently. He maps for a lovely run in transit and he won't be far away if he can bounce back to his best form. MANZOR MAGIC (4) is a fresh winner in the past and will be fitter for two trials coming into this. He'll end up getting over further, but he ticks a few boxes today and can run a bold race fresh. PLAYZ WITH FIRE (5) is better than she's shown her past couple and she can turn her form around now third-up into the campaign. SELECTIONS: Keen on Ain'tsobad.
