Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 19.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Rosehill, Flemington, Eagle Farm and Morphettville Parks.
ROSEHILL: RACE 9 @ 4:05 PM
ROBUSTO (1) should have finished much closer second up, after being held up badly in the straight when an eye catching second over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes at this track. Strips fitter and will relish the 1500m from the low draw. Expected to go one better. ACCREDITED (4) bounced off his good first up win, when a closing third over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes. Bred to get this distance and will roll forward again. Top three player. THUNDERLIPS (10) deep into his prep and returned good closing splits from back in the field when fourth over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes. Senior rider engaged and gets his chance. BASES LOADED (5) has needed both runs back and gets his desired surface today. Covered ground in the run and struggled in the going when eighth over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes. Will hold a forward position and give plenty of cheek. SALTCOATS (11) dragged back from the wide draw before chipping away late against most of these first up. Will be strong late. SELECTIONS: Robusto in a strong contest.

FLEMINGTON: RACE 6 @ 3:05 PM
LA FRACAS (8) has come back in outstanding fashion, plowing through the heavy ground to win in fast time at both Mornington and Sandown Lakeside. The stable keep him at 1200m again but he seems to be relishing it and Shinn going on is a positive. Drawn the inside but is on an upward spiral that the others may not be able to match. DE BERGERAC (11) was behind La Fracas at Sandown, starting second favourite on that occasion. He gets in light here and drawn out wider could be an advantage. GREAT MAXIMUS (2) brought strong SA form across the border and ran well here last time, beaten under a length. Back to 1200m should suit better. EYE OF THE FIRE (3) was poor first up at Rosehill but was right in the market there. His form last time in reads well fro this, he can improve sharply. MOBY DICK (6) was good last time and is an each way chance again. SELECTIONS: La Fracas to win.
EAGLE FARM: RACE 4 @ 1:43 PM
CHICA MOJITO (9) doesn't win out of turn but has hit the top-five in nine of her past ten starts and is usually thereabouts. Placed in Listed company at the latest effort and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Deserves to break through. COSMIC VEGA (3) has been plying his trade in harder Listed contests and will appreciate the drop back in grade in this. Can bounce back. CHRYSAOR (1) is the class runner in this field and must be respected from the Waller camp. Has his share of talent and is a definite top-three prospect. The well-related CABOCHE (4) (half to G3 winner Manolo Blahniq) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Chica Mojito to get an overdue victory.
MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 9 @ 5:08 PM
The speed looks like it could be on here so they may set it up for something hitting the line. Perhaps it will be CONCORDE (2), who was brilliant from the back first-up when reeling off some of the best closing sectionals at the end of 1400m. He's suited up in trip and gets a handy 3kg claim for Matt Chadwick. He can win and happy to be betting up that he does just that. MERCHANT BOSS (3) rarely runs badly and he again looks an each-way chance from a sticky draw. BIT OF A REBEL (8) wasn't far away in an easier race last time and can be included in wider plays along with WILLYBEAFACTOR (6) who gets into the right spot in the run and battles away. SELECTIONS: Having something on Concorde each-way.
