Today’s Horse Racing Tips - 26th July 2025

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 26.

Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Caulfield, Doomben, Morphettville and Belmont Park.

RANDWICK: RACE 4 @ 1:05 PM

CODETTA (1) finally drawn a low gate and expect to see her race closer with Wadick aboard. Raced without cover when attacking the line late with a game third over 1300m at Rosehill. Brings the right figures to turn the tables on them today. Hard to stop. DIDDLE DUMPLING (2) has come back a more polished filly this prep and is capable of making it three straight wins with Stanley's 3kg claim. Took control early from the awkward draw when holding off her rivals with a smart win over the 1300m at Rosehill. Fitter now and goes close. COSMEENA (9) massive jump in grade when almost pinching it with a fighting on the speed second over 1400m at this track in BM78 grade. Gets Owen's claim again and not to be underestimated. SIGNOR TORTONI (3) progressing quickly through his grades and is adept in all conditions. The extra trip won't pose a problem but he will have to work early to slide across. Each way. STARDEEL (4) desperate for this trip fourth up and not to be overlooked.
SELECTIONS: Codetta to score a long overdue victory.

CAULFIELD: RACE 9 @ 4:55 PM

KEEP YOUR COOL (6) is up slightly in grade from a last start third at this track and trip but gets the services of Craig Williams aboard here and draws nicely. She should be at peak fitness now and this looks a fairly winnable BM84. PARIAH PEARL (13) wasn't given the best of rides last start at Flemington but is going well all things considering. Gets in light here and while drawn wide, she can push on to sit in the first pair. Can figure. TRUE TO FORM (11) ran a better race out to this trip last time out, sticking on well for second behind HOME RULE (4) who started big odds and led throughout. Both have to be respected.
SELECTIONS: Keep Your Cool on top.

DOOMBEN: RACE 4 @ 1:48 PM

RAMP IT UP (3) worked home strongly to finish runner-up in the Group 3 Winx Guineas last time out and will appreciate the drop back in company here. Is one from one over this track and trip and looks very hard to toss in this line-up. DRACENA (7) broke the maiden status in impressive fashion when resuming and will have taken some confidence from that breakthrough victory. Winning rider Allen sticks and should get a gun run from gate three. Can go back-to-back. APUNTAR (1) has placed four from four over this distance range and has saluted on all going. Top-three commodity. VICTORY FLAME (4) is yet to miss a drum in six career starts and is a must for the multiples. BOLLINGER MISS (10) next best from the Munce camp.
SELECTIONS: Ramp It Up to go one better.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 9 @ 5:07 PM

CALADAN (1) has been flying this campaign and wasn't disgraced in a high-rating race last start. He can take control here and will be hard to beat. He's the top seed. BLANC VISAGE (9) caught the eye first-up and her record suggests she will improve second-up. She's drawn to track the speed and will have the last crack. PURFECT LINE (12) keeps racing well and this is potentially an easier assignment than last start. He's an each-way prospect. Respect the winning form of ALOHA BLUE (15) who can run a cheeky race up in grade, while TAKING OMAHA (8) is well placed to run well but might need the hitout.
SELECTIONS: Backing Caladan to win.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 3 @ 4:14 PM

YORGA PRIDE (5) tasted defeat for the first time at Listed level in the Breeders' Classic at the end of last campaign. She never really got into the race there, but had showed plenty of promise prior. Her recent trial suggests she's back on song and Pike sticks from that outing. Can return on a winning note. SNOW GOD (8) is on the quick turnaround after blowing the start last week and closing off strongly to finish 0.7L off the winner. That was a good race on paper and he held his own. May need some luck from the draw but he's got some class about him and he can go one better. LUCKY I AM (3) has won four of her last 5 starts and was only just edged out as favourite in Open 3YO company two back. She'll be prominent from the barrier and if she's allowed to dictate up front, she'll be hard to run down. GOD'S GATE (2) is worth including on the back of a strong win last start. REAL DELUXE (6) won't be far away from a favourable alley.
SELECTIONS: Yorga Pride can win first-up.
