Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Bathurst, Casino and Pakenham.
BATHURST: RACE 7 @ 5:00 PM
MARVEL MAN (12) rewarded for his consistency at start nine when demolishing his rivals over this track and trip from a low gate. Gets map favours again and will have little trouble carrying the extra weight. KEADOOL (4) ploughed through the heavy conditions third up when a week between runs to salute over 900m at Wellington. Undefeated at this trip and clearly come back stronger this time in. MAN FROM BRUSSELLS (7) found form at his last three starts and kept fresh for this. Went back from the draw and turned in a huge run under the circumstances when fourth over 1100m at Dubbo. One two back on the good track and gets his chance here. MISS CAPRICORN (5) on the quick backup after running on late when sixth over 1100m at Dubbo. Senior rider on today and assess on her good minor placing four starts back. SELECTIONS: Marvel Man to win again.

NAGAMIE (2) must surely win a race again soon. Breeding says he will love the step up in ground and he was so close to a victory last time that it will take a good effort to hold him out. SEASONS OF MIST (4) is stepping out at this track for the first time. Last appeared when he finished sixth over 1600m at Sunshine Coast on August 3. Is never far away in his races and should be around the mark. ROCK THE MACHINE (3) form has dropped off in last two after a win at Port Macquarie three runs back. Can bounce back. WHATADILEMMA (13) last raced when fifth over 1600m at Sunshine Coast. Can figure in the finish. SELECTIONS: If Nagamie runs to his last effort he should win.
PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM
LADY ELSA (5) was scintillating last start, letting rip with a big turn of foot to run over the top of her opposition. She was beaten by Moonlight Circus prior to that, who has measured up in a much higher grade than this. NUTS 'N' BOLTS (4) is a talented commodity, and his best form is strong for a race like this, but his best form is seemingly on wet tracks. LAUNCESTON (3) ran boldly at Flemington last start at big odds and can progress with that rating now. SUPER SOLAR (1) is ultra-consistent, never runs a bad race and deserves to be the top-weight. The likes of Lady Elsa may outclass him in this field, though.
SELECTIONS: Lady Elsa is the best bet on the program.
