Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for September 29.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Wagga, Kilmore and Bunbury.
WAGGA: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM
KING INCANTO (1) got too far back first-up but charged late to just miss the frame. Blinkers go on to sharpen him and with fitness and a longer trip second-up, he looks hard to hold out. GOLD TRACKER (5) doesn't win often but looks well placed third-up after a strong chase at Goulburn. Perfect track-and-trip record and a good draw makes him a major player. Stablemate TALUK (6) is fit and going better than her form suggests. Should roll forward to give herself every chance. ROSIE'S PROPHECY (11) was only beaten a neck last start when third over 1300m at Corowa. In the mix here along with KEITH (3) who is resuming from a spell. Coming along well including placing in the latest Wangaratta jump-out and opening last campaign with a second at Corowa over 1300m. Worth consideration here.
SELECTIONS: King Incanto to win.

KILMORE: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM
HOMEWARD (2) is worth another chance. Showed ability in first campaign then was solid fresh over six furlongs when fifth. Will strip much fitter but does looks ideally placed stretching out in journey. Her only other try second-up returned a figure more than enough to be taking this out. JUST ANOTHER GIRL (3) was well fancied on debut and raced on speed before weakening late. Sure to be improved and the blinkers go on. Has good early dash so expecting her to give a sight. EMPRESS OF CHINA (6) ran a much-improved race at second outing when fresh from a break. Tricky gate but further improvement to come into this. STUNG (9) is a Dundeel filly from a Group 2 winning mare and from a big family of winners. Has been very well educated leading into this including three recent hit-outs. Expected to measure up. WAR VOWS (10) is a Churchill filly also from a good family and has had several hit-outs leading up to this. Looks set for a bold showing.
SELECTIONS: Follow up on Homeward.
BUNBURY: RACE 6 @ 6:24 PM
PHAROAH SHOW (1) just missed last start over a similar trip here, sitting on the speed for Amy Jo Hayes. He comes back in grade today and the weight increase is helped by Hayes' 2kg claim. He's right on the cusp of winning another and this looks a very winnable race based on his recent efforts. ALMAYA (4) finished 2.4 lengths off the winner at the midweeks last time out when won by a progressive type. The inside draw should see him get every chance in the run and he's coming through some nice form racers recently. He can play a major role. BONDI STAR (5) got the job done two back before a disappointing effort in Heavy going most recently. A firmer deck here can see her improve. KHUTOS (8) is another who looks as though they'll appreciate a firmer track today and a big form reversal wouldn't surprise. ONLY US (7) races well at this trip and is not to be discounted.
SELECTIONS: Pharoah Show can go one better.
