COONABARABRAN: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM
SUPREME STYLE (10) resumes after finishing in the minor money at all three runs in her career thus far. Winkers go on for the first time and looks primed to get off the mark from the low draw. Clearly the one to beat. GOOD TIME (1) had trialled very well at Wellington in readiness for his debut but ended up a long way back after being slowly away. He never really got into the race from that point on and finished 5.7L away after jumping a $3.40 chance. He was also slow to recover on a day where nothing went right. Happy to forgive that effort off what he showed at the trials and he can bounce back in a big way. NANDOWRIE (3) showed enough in his recent trial at Forbes to suggest he can run a good race here on debut. Not to be discounted. STREET SKATER (4) can make his presence felt off a freshen.
SELECTIONS: Supreme Style can assert her authority.

PORT MACQUARIE: RACE 3 @ 3:15 PM
HIGHLAND HUSTLE (5) is racing in career-best form, highlighted by a huge maiden win over the mile at Coffs Harbour two back. Won't mind the step up in distance. Going better than most of these and another win looks on the cards. EINSTEIN'S THEORY (7) showed a glimpse of form last time out, making late inroads to finish fifth at the end of 1500m at this circuit. Peaking now after three runs back and the slightly longer trip is a tick. DEVOTED TO YOU (9) settled back in the field and struggled to make ground when she last appeared over 1400m at Taree. Looking for this sort of journey now so a better run is anticipated. Forget the last result of HEART OF PLATINUM (4) as 1200m was way too short. Beaten just 2.1 lengths here at this trip three back which is a better pointer to her chances. HARDASH (1) next best in a race that lacks depth.
SELECTIONS: Highland Hustle to win.
SALE: RACE 6 @ 4:00 PM
ELECTRIC STAR (9) resumes having been tipped out off a narrow maiden win here on debut, backed into an even money favourite and getting the job done. Very wary of how much improvement he'll make for the sharp stable. Looks well placed to remain unbeaten on resumption. JAHANGIR (3) resumes for his second campaign. He won 2/4 starts in his maiden campaign and did some nice things. He can land in a good spot from the soft gate and measure right up. IMMINANCE (11) is a chance on best form having won well two back. FULLY CALCULATED (6) felt the pinch late first-up at Morphettville when having to do a bit or work early. Fitter for that effort and he's likely to have come on from that effort.
SELECTIONS: Electric Star to win.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 2 @ 2:15 PM
The well-related SHAKO (2) (half to G2 winner Arcaded) goes well for hoop Martyn who has a win and two placings from just three steers and has been racing very consistently this time in work. Again gets the benefit of her 3kg claim and should be going very close. KING SPIRIT (5) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this nature. Include from the inside marble. DEFIANT SPIRIT (3) best of the rest with Maloney on board. MAKE IT SO (7) has been back to the trials since a disappointing effort here 42 days ago when well beaten. Her recent trial suggests she may be back on song however. Not willing to discount in this small field.
SELECTIONS: Backing Shako.
LAVERTON: RACE 3 @ 3:00 PM
FORTUNE'S LUCK (4) has gone close as favourite her last two and maps well with a 2kg claimer aboard. Deserves the win and will get every chance. SCOTTISH LAIRD (1) needed the first-up run in stronger but he's won second-up and is still well shy of his best. Clark rides today and will give him every chance. ROEY CLAM (3) brings the right form to this contest winning last-start by 1L at Leinster over 1400m. That was a return to form, and despite coming back in trip can go on with the job. OUR KIWI PRINCESS (2) tries hard but needs to show needs to show a lot more to be a threat in this contest.
SELECTIONS: Backing Fortune's Luck
NORTHAM: RACE 8 @ 8:05 PM
Cup time now and SECRET ATTRACTION (11) looks the one to beat after a narrow defeat in the Hannans at Kalgoorlie. Only narrowly beaten there when nothing really went right, but the rise to the mile now is no issue. Rates highly and can go one better now. SENSESSIONAL (2) was in fine form before bumping into Railway Stakes fav Cosmic Crusader at his latest outing. He was best of the rest there however and that holds plenty of weight. Should get every chance from the alley and he's in this up to his ears. Pike opts to ride CAPTAIN PLUTO (4) over Sensessional and that's worth keeping in mind. He was good first-up from a long way back under the apprentice hoop and he's placed 4/5 second-up. May need some things to go his way but he'll be doing his best work late. PROPHET AND POWER (9) gets in nicely at the weights following his win 8 days ago and he rates highly on that effort. MULTINATIONAL (5) was too strong in the Hannans and will give them something to chase once again.
SELECTIONS: Siding with Secret Attraction in the Cup.
CLARE: RACE 7 @ 5:15 PM
EMERALD COURT (4) returns off a sizzling trial win and looks ready to fire fresh. She tackles a favoured trip and has no draw. Every chance to snap the drought. SHUTTLE RUN (5) hasn't been threatening but showed signs of life last start at Gawler. Drops back to a winning trip and gets Murtagh on, which could be the spark. SHIKANIC (2) failed in town but this is more his scene. He's fit, finds his pet distance, and can bounce back sharply. CRIMOSA (7) resumes for the Lynch yard and while he hasn't trialled, he's in a race that suits. Keep safe. CATALINA BLUE (10) is hit-and-miss but has won here before. Include in wider exotics.
SELECTIONS: Emerald Court to win.
ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 1 @ 12:40 PM
OUR COUVER (5) has switched from a Victorian yard on a 30-day return. Pushed forward from a wide draw last time leading for most of the way beaten 2L over 1406m at Benalla. That's good form and he will be tough to rein in. BOY BIG (3) proved too strong last start and scored by 3.5 lengths over 1200m in stronger. Has a 50% win record at the track and despite the weight lift he can go on with it. ALTAR BOY (2) turned in a decent effort making late ground to finish second to the above. Best figures measure up. EXPERT WITNESS (1) was in contention on the corner and was caught late in the same contest, well beaten in the end. Will trim down second-up and using the inside barrier can stick on better.
SELECTIONS: Our Couver is well placed.
