Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Albury, Kempsey, Pakenham, Hamilton and Kilcoy.
ALBURY: RACE 6 @ 5:55 PM
HEAVENLY KISS (2) resumed as a $3.3 favourite and delivered a CL2 at Wagga Riverside over 1200m. Maps for the run of the race and an in-form hoop sticks aboard. Seeks the hat-trick and fitter she will get every chance. DOUBTFREE (8) is free running and has switched to the Scott barn on a 27-day return. Found one much too good here last time, but the form prior stacks up. McDougall stays aboard, and the betting will be key. DOORALONG (4) was a big Maiden winner at Moruya and may have got the tongue over the bit at Canberra following starting at short odds. Heywood is a key jockey engagement and fitter again, he can get back on track. SANTOLINI (9) did a good job winning a CL1 here comfortably. The wide barrier is a niggle, but she can't be ruled out.

KEMPSEY: RACE 2 @ 1:50 PM
KOSUKE (2) underrated stayer fitter after two runs back over the shorter trips. Slow into stride with the 58.5kg when a plugging eighth over 1810m at Eagle Farm in C3 grade. Can race closer from the inside gate and assert his class. CITY GOLD READY (8) turned things around when rolling forward for a dominant on-pace victory over 1900m at Armidale. A repeat effort will see him prove hard to stop again. MISSION TO WIN (6) has a win at this track and stretches out to this trip for the first time. Back in distance and never comfortable in the heavy going when sixth over 1420m at Grafton. Deep into the prep and must be respected. SEETHING SEB (7) three runs back have been okay and this looks much easier. Plugged late when fifth over 2100m at Beaumont (Newcastle). On the quick backup and can sneak into the minor money.
SELECTIONS: Kosuke will relish the drop in grade.
PAKENHAM: RACE 6 @ 8:45 PM
NO FOOLING (3) looks the one to beat with a run under the belt. He's a lightly raced 4yo who was just found wanting for fitness first up with 61kg here having promised plenty in his initial campaign. Stays at 1000m but draws well again and should go close. INTEREST POINT (1) is coming off a dominant win at Ballarat over this trip last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths. He's handy on his day and a repeat of that performance will go close again. SUPERNIMA (2) resumes with an imposing record on her home track, winning two of three and running second in the other. 1000m is short of his best but he's got the ability to be running well. LATIN BOSS (9) resumes having shown good 2yo ability. He's jumped out well and has claims fresh.
SELECTIONS: No Fooling to win.
HAMILTON: RACE 5 @ 4:00 PM
HALF SCOTCH (9) found a distant place behind a good one over 1400m at Warrnambool, and the provincial form leading into that reads extra well. Presents fourth up, and Yendall has been booked by the Danny O'Brien yard. Rates the one to beat. MY UNCLE DID IT (3) resumes for the Wilde yard, and she wasn't beaten far at her only fresh run. 1400m is a better starting point, and she's had three jumpouts. Hurdle is a positive jockey booking. SHADOW STORM (5) is third up, and expect more from her. Has a senior hoop aboard today and the speedy mare will jump and run from the inside gate. FOREVER JEUNE (1) is fit and tries hard. Has been giving away starts so the extra metres will suit. Should be around the mark.
SELECTIONS: Backing Half Scotch.
KILCOY: RACE 2 @ 3:12 PM
BAVARIAN LADY (5) turned in an eye-catching run over 1890m at Toowoomba last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish second. The winkers are removed now and looks a top chance in this. DROP THE PILOT (3) has been in the placings in his past two starts, finishing third over 1600m at Gatton last time out. Leading player on recent runs. SUPER FAIR (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1890m at Toowoomba. Likely improver with top-three prospects. CHANGE THE DEEL (2) is usually thereabouts and looks one for the exotics players.
SELECTIONS: Bavarian Lady to break through.
