Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 11.
Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Gosford, Queanbeyan, Warrnambool and Mackay.
GOSFORD: RACE 1 @ 1:15 PM
Good little contest to start the day. BLUE EYED BRIGID (8) back for her second campaign when stalked the speed at her second run in for a slick maiden win over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Maps well from the draw and has further upside. SANTATIME (2) consistent gelding ready to hit his top third-up. Will relish the mile after closing strongly when third over 1350m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Can sit off them from the draw and close late. OCEAN CHILL (5) Ocean Park mare who went forward on debut with a tough maiden victory over 1400m at Scone. Back in trip when a battling fourth over 1350m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Will appreciate this trip and figure prominently. ROSE WATER (6) is a well-bred mare who stretches in trip third-up. Speared across from the wide draw when a tenacious second over 1350m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Will push forward again at the each-way price.
SELECTIONS: Blue Eyed Brigid will take holding out.

QUEANBEYAN: RACE 5 @ 4:05 PM
The local SHAFT ATTACK (5) placed twice at Canberra before delivering his Maiden win here over 1000m and it was a game effort. Doubt this is much tougher and he can come hard and go back-to-back. MAN FROM BRUSSELLS (4) was a comfortable 58 winner here and then came back and likely had excuses over a longer sprint. Has the inside gate and this trip suits better. Cahill sticking aboard is a decent push for his chances. OAKEYS CHOICE (2) and BOLD OFFA (3) are both last start winners with claims. The former gets in well with the 3kg claim and the later is free running, and Heywood is a key jockey engagement.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Shaft Attack.
WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM
MISS DECEIVER (8) will be strongly fancied to get off the mark here. Has placed two of three runs, both in rain-affected going, and has been racing in far richer maidens. Gets her chance to open winning account. BELLABAMA (5) had just one run in her first campaign in rich open two-year-old class at Swan Hill when ran on well to finish fourth. Resumes in easier and has been jumping out well. Expected to measure up. FLYING DONE (1) was safely held on debut then ran a much better race last time, hitting the line hard for sixth but beaten just a length. Heading the right way and should be winding up late. The race drops right away beyond those three to have raced. PANDA ALERT (3) is a well-educated three-year-old gelding by Ocean Park out of High Vogue who makes debut. Has had six trials in total but four more recently preparing for debut so should be ready to show something. COCKTAIL LADY (6) is another well-educated first starter from a good family. Nice draw and worth watching.
SELECTIONS: Miss Deceiver gets chance.
MACKAY: RACE 4 @ 4:04 PM
THE PENSKE FILE (2) made it three wins in a row last start when he scored by a neck over 2000m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can salute once again. SHOCKSTAR (3) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 2200m at Bairnsdale. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and three minor placings from eight outings and is sure to run well. MORDECAI (6) turned things around last start and got the job done by 3.5 lengths over 1560m here. Going up a level this time but he can win again. TORQUE ESPAGNA (9) was beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth in a 1560m contest at this venue last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
SELECTIONS: The Penske File to continue the picket fence.
