Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 2.
Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Scone,Narromine and Donald.
SCONE: RACE 7 @ 5:30 PM
KATE'S TIARA (2) is racing in great heart against far better fields than this. Came from last of six to get up for second last start in a Class 6 over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast. Crying out for 1200m now and in this far easier race she is clearly the one to beat. NIGHT FIGHTER (5) won in this grade over 1400m at Coonabarabran two runs ago. Found the line well subsequently in open company at Armidale. Poses a serious threat back in this more suitable contest. MY MATE KATE (9) was plain last start at the second run of the campaign, beaten comfortably over 1100m at this track. Has won none from 11 in the first two runs of her preps, but two from four third-up. Watch for a spike in form. CANNY PROSPECT (3) is in tremendous form. Had an eight-week let-up before thundering home to grab second in a strong form race over 1106m at Port Macquarie last start. Kept fresh again and is one to watch for late in the piece. NYALI SANDS (8) is a good fresh performer worth including off a short break.
SELECTIONS: Kate's Tiara to win the last.

NARROMINE: RACE 5 @ 4:35 PM
GLOWING RAPIDS (13) rewarded for his consistency when displayed good early toe for a dominant victory over 1100m at Bathurst. Drops sharply in weight in a very average BM66. Hard to catch again. LINE OF LAW (6) went fast early from the outside draw to score her fourth straight win over 1200m at Warren. Poorly drawn here and has solid claims if she can get some cheap sectionals midrace. DAO SUN (10) not that far away at his last two outings and drops 4.5kg for this. Strong through the line when fourth over 1000m at Quirindi when anchored with the 60.5kg. Will be charging at the business end. VIOLET AND BLUE (1) returns from a let-up. Will appreciate the claim again after holding on to finish a gritty second over 1000m at Queanbeyan in this grade. Well drawn and sure to be thereabouts.
SELECTIONS: Glowing Rapids will take catching again.
DONALD: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM
The speedy THINKING SENSATION (7) has had one blip in a string of narrow defeats. Has the inside barrier and may get a soft lead. Finds the right race, and the gelding will take a stack of catching. PETROULA (11) is third-up and hasn't been having the best of it. Has the outside gate to manage, but has pieces of form that would see her in the finish. MORAL TURPITUDE (5) peaks today and was slow off and wide here last time. It was a much better effort, and there's more up the sleeve. HE'S ELECTRIC (3) resumes, and the jumpouts have been good. Has a soft gate and handy 2kg claim. Everything points to improvement.
SELECTIONS: Backing Thinking Sensation.
