We head to Narrogin on Saturday with seven races on the card.
The meeting plays a handy supporting role to Ascot on Saturday in what looks an open meeting.
You can watch all the action from both Ascot and Narrogin live and free on 7Plus and Racing WA.
Race 1: TABtouch SCAN MY BET MAIDEN HANDICAP (1720m)
RIBELLATO (1) has been thereabouts in his last 3 starts in stronger fields and looks to be the one to beat with a drop-down to country-class grade here. On top. EXTRA ZERO (3) finished runner-up as favourite in her penultimate start on this track and then whacked away over 1200m at Bunbury last time out. He steps straight up to a middle distance and should race closer to the pace as a result. Each-way. BEEJAY BOY (2) ran on late when finishing fifth at Bunbury over 1200m last time out. He will relish getting out to a middle distance for the first time and is ready to put his best hoof forward. MAID AN OFFER (9) will find this easier than his recent assignments over 1400m at Bunbury and he has been looking for more ground. This field is very even and he has top four claims with the right run in transit.
Race 2: TABtouch PLACE A SAME RACE MULTI MAIDEN HANDICAP (1190m)
CAPABLE ANGEL (2) ran along in front second-up last time out at Albany and after giving a good kick she was claimed late, finishing runner-up, less than a length from the winner. She has a good draw and those front-running tactics are a bonus around this circuit. On top. NO ROMANCE (4) only peaked late on her effort fresh up here just over 4 weeks ago and should be spot on with her fitness second-up. She has enough pace to settle close to the pace and can figure in the top 3 this time. BONDI'S SON (13) may have found 1400m a touch too far for him at this stage of his career last time out at Geraldton. He has a superior gate for this and can finish closer. Include in all combinations. PRINCE VITALITY (14) is resuming from a spell with 4 trials under his belt. He has been underwhelming so far in his career but will find this company more to his liking. He has pole position and can grab a slice of the finish.
Race 3: TABtouch KEN ROWE MEMORIAL HANDICAP (1190m)
WORK HOME FRONT (4) had her last start at York nearly 6 weeks ago and did not help herself by racing keenly in the middle stages that day. She has had 3 trials since then and from a good draw, she will be hard to hold out with the benefit of a 2kg claim. CHAD'S ME DAD (3) is a consistent mare who was third in a similar race here 3 starts back. She can make full use of the pole position and has each-way claims again in an even contest. TROOPER PHOENIX (1) is resuming from a spell for a new trainer and has only been lightly tried for a 5-year-old gelding. He was runner-up in a recent Lark trial and will be ready to run a big race at this level fresh up. A market watch is recommended. REAL SENOR (2) ended his last prep with a win at York. He is fresh up with a couple of trials under his belt and he usually comes to hand quickly. Include in all combinations.
Race 4: TABtouch CELEBRATING RACHEL'S 30TH HANDICAP (1100m)
UNIVERSAL PLAYBOY (4) has needed both of his trials back from a spell and will find this much easier than either of those 2 runs. He gets a big swing in his draw this time and a form reversal is on the cards. Can win. I'M NOT SLEW (1) has yet to fire in 2 starts back from a spell but will have no excuses third up in this weaker class. The key here is having the blinkers on for the first time and with the benefit of a 2kg claim, she is poised to put her best hoof forward. Don't drop her. CRYSTALIST (2) has been mixing his form and ruined his chances at Collie 8 weeks ago when stumbling out of the starting stalls. He has a good draw and the recent freshen-up would have done him no harm. Include in all multiples. GRACE ROSE (6) won here 2 starts back before just battling at Pinjarra 8 days ago. She has a superior gate this time and can figure in the top three here.
Race 5: YOUVE GOT THE TABtouch HANDICAP (1720m)
BLAZING TYCOON (1) is a durable veteran who is still very competitive at country-class level and was a winner of his penultimate start here by over a length in a tougher grade. He has had a recent trial since his last run at Ascot and even with 62kg to carry, he is the one to beat. ROCK OF KAHA (3) was unsuited by 1400m at Esperance last start and steps up to a more suitable middle distance here. He is having his first run on the track and benefits from a 2kg claim, bringing his weight down to a more manageable 60kg. Stick with him on an each-way basis. BILLY JACK (4) whacked away to finish midfield at Albany last start over 1500m and was a winner there before that. He is still on the up with his fitness and will relish the extra furlong on offer this time. Watch closely. SABINO (6) does not win often but has racked up a few minor placings to go alongside his 2 wins. He can settle handy from the pole position and is worth including in all multiples to be safe.
Race 6: TABtouch WATCH SKY RACING HANDICAP (1100m)
GOOD VIBES (2) is resuming from a spell with 3 trials under her belt. She won her maiden here in March of this year and will be even stronger this season. She will be hoping to find some cover early on from a tricky draw but only needs an ounce of luck to be that one to beat. HERE NO CASH (1) did not see out 1400m at Bunbury nearly 2 weeks ago and is much better placed over 1100 for now. He is down in class and has won on this track in the past. Each way value. BERRY BERRY GOOD (3) did not have the best of runs down the chute at Pinjarra 8 days ago after finishing runner-up here when resuming from a spell. He has a great chance back on this track and can figure in the top 3. OUR GIRL BORAM (4) needed her resuming run badly at Albany 9 days ago and it is encouraging to see her back up so quickly for her second start. She raced with credit on this track last season and should be right in the finish.
Race 7: TABtouch PAST THE POST PAYOUTS HANDICAP (1900m)
MAGIC MIKEY (2) built his form nicely to claim a well-deserved win fourth up from a spell at Albany 9 days ago over a similar trip. This is no harder and even with an extra 4kg to carry, he is the one to beat again. HEAPS OF MOOLAH (4) is still improving his fitness and will find this easier than his last start at Bunbury nearly 2 weeks ago. He has a good chance to break his win drought in this. Each way. JACK IN THE BLACK (1) has only battled in a couple of tougher races on the metro tracks in the city and is much better placed at this level. A good draw will help and with the benefit of a 2kg claim, he can bounce back in the money. MISS ANONYMITY (6) ran her best race this prep in her penultimate start on this track. She peaked on her effort late at Albany last time out but can make amends from a good draw here. Don't drop her.
