Feature racing on the Parks track on Saturday, with the Listed Leon Macdonald Stakes (1400m) the headline on a nice race program.

I'm keen to play in the feature and I'm happy to back in the Victorian visitor Splash Back to get the job done.

For a weight-for-age Stakes race, it doesn't appear the deepest race on paper and there's little doubt this Grahame Begg-trained mare is destined for bigger and better things.

She won six of her 13 starts and boasts a brilliant record over 1400m. The draw is tricky but I'm confident Jordan Childs can have her within striking distance at the top of the straight.

At around $3, I think she's at a backable price and I'm keen to play.

Earlier on the card, I'm keen to have something on Under And Over, who runs first-up for the new stable.

She looked a progressive type in Victoria and her recent trials suggest she's come back even better this campaign. She looks ready to go first-up and I think she finds a winnable race.

At around the $5.50 mark, she is backable on an each-way basis.
